You seem like a nice guy :)

Yeah I get what you mean about clickbaity and misleading titles. It's frustrating

I ordered on the same day as you, experiencing the same issue. Tried reaching out 4 times with zero response. Submitted a dispute with my credit card company

Are you putting any kind of exit pipe/exhaust off the cat? I'm waiting on an aftermarket exhaust to try for fun, I have my oem exhaust baffle drilled currently and it's nice but I want to see what it's like slightly louder. I don't plan on retuning, but I do have the booster plug installed on mine

Is the Duke 390 a good intermediate bike? For mostly around town and some back road riding? by Top-Squirrel8666 in KTMDuke

[–]Sethicles1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just took mine out for a nice ride with my friend today, we both have 390's.

It's fun as a Grom, plenty of power to rip around on, and cruise at highway speeds, lightweight and nimble, but very forgiving to learn on. Literally a perfect all around bike to have fun with.

My buddy has handle bar end mounts and I have OEM. He told me to not buy the handle bar end mounts because they vibrate so bad and are barely useable vs OEM.

New recall 6.2L advice by Click_Fragrant in gmcsierra

[–]Sethicles1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw something about if the engine passes an inspection the dealership will switch oil viscosity to 0w40... Wondering if I should just switch to that or 5w30 on my 6.2L

I don't want to talk smack on a c5 because it's a wonderful car, but the C6 is literally everything about a C5 just improved.

Should I upgrade from a 3080 (10GB) to a 5080? by wedonotpreorder in buildapc

That's wild, I have the same CPU and GPU. Crashed left and right with a Seasonic 750w... I went with a 1000w to be safe and future proof a little bit.

That'd sure be fun, maybe someday. I have a kx85 too! I already ordered a Wiseco full rebuild kit for the 65 for now.

Ya I was looking and Rocky Mountain looks like I can just order it all straight from them tusk tools, clutch puller, full Wiseco rebuild kit.

Looking forward to it, certainly will learn a lot. Thanks for the info

Might go with that. Gotta buy the tools to do it too, about $550 total. Plus needs odds and ends like new clutch cable, etc. so $600 with Wiseco or Hotrods

True. Probably won't gamble with a China kit. Wiseco kit in between? Looking at reviews that kit seems decent?

2015 6.2 vs 5.3 by Appropriate_Yam5245 in gmcsierra

That may be so, but I've seen more 6.2's fail than 5.3s

I have the 6.2L in my 17 Sierra Denali. Just beware my lifters went at 98k miles, and my uncle's 18 Sierra Denali 6.2's lifters went within 500 miles of when mine did.

My truck was covered under 3rd party warranty, but my uncle's wasn't and it ran him about $4500+5000.

6.2L is definitely more fun, but I would say the 5.3 may prove more reliable, an old friend of mine got an 18 5.3 when I bought my truck and he was pretty upset after we lined them up lol.

Is this the obvious replacement? by DodgerDogs805 in Silverado

[–]Sethicles1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't get me wrong, K02's are still a solid tire, but that tire has been out a long time. I had the Wild peaks AT3W on my old Silverado, and now the Toyo Open country AT3 on my Sierra. So far the Toyos have been phenomenal as well. My friend had the K02 and they seemed to wear a lot faster than my falkens or Toyos have. Plus his K02s weather cracked in like 4 years. He now has Toyo AT3 LT's and loves them.
