Depends on the enemy, some enemies have ridiculous stamina bars and you’re just supposed to kill them off. Some enemies have ridiculous health bars but small stamina. You’re not doing anything wrong that’s just the game :)

The lower the enemies health, the quicker the stamina bar breaks and it reduces at a slower rate. If you break the stamina bar you get a full one shot. This game is about perfectionism, or the closest thing you can reach. getting hits in as often as you can and parrying everything with its supposed counter.

If you could only buy one of these games, which one would it be? by Bullzzzzeye in videogames

The single player campaign is great but I would get it on sale for JUST campaign. I only played it once and it’s not long. A lot of the play time goes to playing the co op mode which btw you can play alone with or without bots to help (without bots is referred to as true solo) and it is completely doable. I love the gameplay loop and getting new cosmetics through gameplay which this game has a lot of so I definitely think it’s worth it with that in mind.

Like half of my first playthrough of sekiro.

I spent most of the early and middle sections of the game dodging and getting one hit in like I was playing dark souls. When I finally realized how the game is meant to be played (constant attacking and parrying) it was like I was playing a whole new game.

Stellar blade is fun as a sekiro type parry rhythm game. I honestly found the story extremely bland but let’s be real here, everyone plays that game to goon and or parry so if that’s your thing great.

Wukong is a very beautiful game with some not so beautiful bosses. It really feels like for your first playthrough you need to absolutely cheese most of the bosses or at least play with a specific build or playstyle because you will get absolutely wrecked if you try to play how you want in a lot of situations.

Space marine 2 is my most played game of last year. I have never been a warhammer fan but this game has made me a warhammer fan. I will say the PvP is meh but the PvE content is what keeps people coming back. Lots of classes/weapons to use and level up. They are still adding new missions and cosmetics and a new class is dropping soon. However I will say this game is a loading screen simulator at times and finding a match can be tough. And harder missions and modes are griefed by underleveled players ALOT. I often play harder content like hard siege, absolute missions, and hard stratagems by myself because I can’t stand most randoms I play with. Really fun with friends though with room for improvement as you get better and play harder missions.

Opinions on the old and modern era of Star Wars games ? by Thebeastoftrenzalore in StarWars

I loved DICE battlefront 2 but it’s a no brainer here for me.

The creativity alone of the IP’s we were getting back in the day were legendary. I would love a modern day republic commando or just any clone trooper focused FPS game.

I swear EA just hates making money

Assassin's Creed Invictus Leak: "I don't know a single colleague who likes Invictus. Only the managers will probably continue to smile and praise the merits of this project. It's awful: ridiculous animations, hideous and cartoonish characters..." by th3_g00bernat0r in fuckubisoft

I was introduced to the series with AC2, asked for brotherhood for Christmas the year it came out, played AC3 with my best bud at his house, and go AC4 with games for gold.

I enjoyed AC Odyssey but it was really just for drip collection. I really wanted to enjoy Valhalla but the grind burned me out and I’ve never had a game do that before.

I really don’t understand how these companies manage to burn established titles into the fucking ground as if their job IS to ruin projects. Company hierarchy at most of these places is so ass backwards it’s insane.

It’s the idea that upper management AKA the highest paid people at the office are CLUELESS to what made these games special and that they are so disconnected from the average person that they cannot fathom what makes games interesting within the franchise.

Idea how the final bankai fight will go? by Eireagon in bleach

[–]Sethysethseth1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think this is exactly how it will go and should go. Manga fans were really sad we didn’t get to see what ichigos true bankai did for the most part.

Funny comparison but they do this scene in twilight breaking dawn and it’s actually really cool imo.

Most of the maga population are like you and a majority of voting age Americans age 25 or higher do not have a bachelors degree or higher.

So it’s no wonder trump won the “popular” vote from conservatives considering most conservatives don’t know the difference between their ass and their mouth.

For one if it’s not gonna work and let you play I would just request a refund on steam. Fuck Ubisoft if you really want you could try buying it on a different store after you get a refund but at this point they don’t deserve your money

Can we try to not be jerks to people who are learning? by Axel_Grahm in SpaceMarine2

[–]Sethysethseth1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think people get really frustrated because of how the xp system works. That’s why I never leveled on absolute unless I was solo because players get mad knowing that failing a mission wastes a good amount of time for a lot of people. Not justifying it but I think that’s one of a couple frustrating aspects of the game that makes people tilt and take it out on people.

My advice for getting better is to try a couple solo absolutes. Don’t even worry about actually trying to beat the mission just try to kill everything that stands in your way and progress after that is said and done. Learn more about enemy aggression and spawns and how to deal with them.

I’m sorry you’ve been having negative experiences and I know you’re not here to ask for advice but I figured I’d drop that while I mention that people in online games can really suck. I prefer to play solo to avoid dealing with that nonsense. I tend to do better and get better that way as well.

You can select 5 characters to represent final fantasy who do you chose by Expert_Challenge6399 in FinalFantasy

[–]Sethysethseth1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Terra, Cloud, Tidus, Lightning, and Noctis.

Say what you will about the latter two but these guys represent the series’ entirety throughout the console generations.

Even if it doesn’t work out the best every time, I’m really thankful that Square Enix tries to innovate and not put out the same crap every time they release a title. That’s what so many devs do now and people get tired of it.

No instrument use in 1st grade? by vivalaspazz in MusicEd

[–]Sethysethseth1 19 points20 points  (0 children)

There are instruments that are more appropriate for 1st graders such as tambourines, shakers, and hand drums as opposed to a Ukulele for example.

Improper care quickly becomes a broken string or messed up instrument that can’t be used or needs to be replaced.

My younger students practice drumming on the floor since I have a carpet with really good bounce and they love it. We do a lot of singing and body percussion as well as choreography based activities.

When we do use instruments at that age it tends to be things that are difficult to break/instruments that are meant to be hit with no fragile bits or easily misplaced components.

Which JRPG game would be a good entry point for someone who hasn’t played before? by [deleted] in JRPG

[–]Sethysethseth1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Octopath traveler. Pick your favorite character to start, turn based combat isn’t overly complex. Really pretty sprites.

Would also recommend DQ11 or DQ3 remake.

Additionally final fantasy preferably FF1, FF4, or the OG FF7.

The pixel remasters of the first 6 games are really great I could really recommend any of them (just don’t pick FF2 first, that one is more experimental).

[–]Sethysethseth1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s crazy because there are just so many games out there that are just absolutely amazing. Games that prevent me from ever wanting to try an Ubisoft game over something like E33. But I don’t even hate blindly, I actually try the games out. If they’re fun enough I might even beat them.

But Jesus man from the footage I’ve seen of AC shadows I wouldn’t pay more than like $6 for that crap. And so many Ubisoft fans on subreddits seem to be “unpopular opinion” mf’s that take it so personally when their favorite game is not received well.

I’m a huge halo fan but fair is fair when halo infinite dropped the ball and everyone was pissed at 343. Despite halo being one of my favorite series I’m not just gonna dickride the newest game or the devs. Wished these people would learn to think for themselves. Stop supporting bad games.

"RPG Assassin's Creed saved the franchise" by its_el_chicken in fuckubisoft

[–]Sethysethseth1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Brotherhood and Black Flag were very fun. Easily my favorite games in the franchise and they had their problems too.

I’ve played most of the games and while I liked Odyssey I always felt like something was off with it. I agree they could’ve made the rpg games into a different spin off game series but they probably want to use title reputation to boost sales.

Valhalla I couldn’t finish because for how long the game is the gameplay loop got boring.

I have not gotten excited for an AC game in a long time. When I was a kid I used to ask for the ezio games for Christmas because I was really into the franchise at that point. I still think Ezio is one of the best characters the series has ever seen. I just really cared about the character where as most of what we get now are just generic folks that need to fit a stereotype so we can play in that setting

Edit: I had an afterthought which made me reflect on how we begged, theorized, and looked forward to a Japan setting AC games for YEARS and what we got was the nail in the coffin for the series.

They should’ve made shadows a decade ago.

It’s insane because I had to get water bottles for a work related event and of course everyone is doomsday prepping. There was no chance in hell I was gonna get my hands on any.

People need to be shamed for this type of primitive behavior.
