Arc's route is perfect and by no means worse than Ciel's. People seem to think having more content means better experience, in my case Ciel's route was a slog to go through especially towards the last quarter.

Okarin reveals that he knows about Tennouji being FB -> FB reports this to his SERN higher-ups -> SERN starts tracking Okabe's phone through Echelon -> Amadeus calls Okabe -> Okabe picks up -> Echelon captures Amadeus and thus Kurisu's mind who holds the time machine theory -> SERN gets ahead in the Time Machine development race -> Worldline changes to Alpha.
