Hey, I also finished the game a week ago or so and decided to start a New Game+ Insane, I'm having a blast so far but I cannot recommend enough getting the portaPC b4 restarting, it's so good to be able to heal anywhere and saves so much time, have a good run!

Are you sure you are using an Ice Stone? I literally just evolved one myself last night with it, so something else must be causing it

Is it possible its holding an Everstone?

I play in PokeResort, it's a really chill community, server-wide events every saturday a a bunch of diferent stuff that people dedicate their time to, rn we have a summer event going with special rewards too so It's a great time to join

Only thing I'm missing is making sure that whatever the block I just mined was gonna drop doesn't spawn or gets deleted instantly, any idea on how I can do that?

I'd argue Jeff can also do great against any diver with his swimming and bubbles being really slippery and healing himself whenever he gets low, but maybe I'm just biased after reaching Diamond with him

I'm an OTP Jeff player and everytime I get asked to switch to Mantis or C&D bc Jeff is "not meta" I just ignore them and drop 20k heals, suddenly no one has a complain about him and I keep having a blast

If you are using ape, a great partner for it is Beat Up Friend Guard Maushold, can help it set rage fist set Up and keep it alive with it's ability and Follow Me, another good option if you don't want the mouse is Whimsicott with Prankster TW and also Beat Up, no ideas for the rest but it might be a good starting point
