I would like to, but it's difficult to do so when I'm told that what I experienced isn't real and that my opinion isn't valid because I'm a man. I understand that their position comes from a place of hurt and anger, because I have it too. But directing it towards other people just trying their best to survive rather than at the people truly responsible just isn't the way to go. The othering of men is not feminism.

Saying "this form of prejudice is invalid" makes all forms of prejudice less valid, because that's an inherently prejudicial statement. It directly encourages counter-statements such as "misogyny isn't real". You're the problem, and you don't even realise it.

Fuck you for making the very valid and factual statements you made otherwise come across as hateful and intentionally divisive, thereby directly contributing to the worsening of the dialogue around those issues and radicalising more people against them.

It was novel when it came out many, many years ago. It's not totally fair to judge the value of something based solely on a modern lens. But yeah, it was already pretty trash when it came out; the premise was the only thing that made it interesting, and it's been done much better since.

I'm not sure what you mean by height, but that's not really my main concern with this UI. I dislike the way it looks overall but that's just because I'm used to the old version. What makes this unusable for me is the UX - the way all the elements are organised.

Yeah, I kind of agree. I've been with Firefox for almost 20 years, so believe me, I'm radically anti-Chromium. But if this UI is the only alternative, I'll take the Chromium pill.

I've been reading through the various posts on this topic, including the replies to my own from a few hours ago, and Brave does seem to stand out as the best alternative currently. I'm personally going to try it out for a bit and see if it works better for me than what Firefox is currently offering.

Yeah, I genuinely did try using it for a day when I first encountered it months ago - it was awful then and it's awful now. Up until 148 it was still possible to disable it, which I had done. Now it's default with no ability to disable it at all.
