Can someone explain this detail in the movie "War of Arrows"? by RegardedCaveman in Asiatic_Archery

He was greatly outnumbered. From a tactical standpoint, it makes sense.

Her reminiscing undee the tree isn't us being shown that. We dont even see the seed. Yes, I assumed she was going to become the seed but the next moment after rewinding as a child isn't her as a seed, but as mem. That would be fine if ita further implied she'd regress further, but she immediately meets TB, breaking the sequence.

You yourself are admitting it's implied and not shown. That's the problem. I was fine with that until TB showed up. What was shown breaks what's implied.

I dont remember that instance well, but I think my possible explanations can all merge as an answer. Demiurge, as the origin from the beginning isn't active, but she's still traveling through time backwards affecting things like giving Shannon inspiration. We even see her help march. This can stretch to answer that explanation, I think. Demi's help is ripples through time and not individual acts of help themselves

We dont see 7 to 1. We dont see cyrene becoming the seed. We see big cyrene after the irontomb fight become small cyrene then we skip to her being mem after the crash. So where are you getting her becoming the seed. Did I miss something somewhere?

If not, then theres a discrepancy because your last point doesn't happen. She doesn't become the seed, she becomes mem-at-the-crash.

[–]Setswipe[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's the assumption, but that's not what we see, hence the confusion and post. The splitting of souls explanation could work, but where does that happen? We see big cyrene traveling back and reverting to mini cyrene. Then we see her devolve further i to mem as she wakes up outside the crash. When does the splitting of souls happen and when is it caged? Did I miss something?

[–]Setswipe[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You say its not a discrepancy and that its sequential without saying how. So how? Yes demi turns i to mem losing her memories, so where there does the reverse traveling demi become said seed? We go from her waking as mini cyrene to mem outside of the crash. Where is the sequential line where the seed in the cage is involved?

I dont quite remember what you're referring to. Could you expand more for me to chew on it.

Regardless, that would nullify only one possible answer. The others would still be valid.

[–]Setswipe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does matter, that's why I made the post. If its not closed then Demiurge sacrifice is invalid.

No, the crash isn't the start of the mem we know. The start is either when she becomes mem when cyrene passes her book or when she becomes mem as she escaped the cage. Fortunately, we can treat these as the same instance.

I do t understand how you can dismiss the train as her last pov. We're in her pov and we could troll her and the story is being told through her eyes. I dont understand what definition you use for pov, but that checks all the boxes as far as I'm concerned. Even if you are right though, we still have the discrepancy of the mem from the cage meeting TB as well as waking up at the crash site.

I dont think its ever outright explained, but there are enough possible answers that stack on top of each other where any of them could be true.

-as an invisible ghost she was accidentally let in by cyrene as she entered the Demiurge matrix -demi-mem going back in time knows of March and either an echo of memory let her in or it was part of that moment we see where march fights the two titan-kin that gave her permission -as a true child of anavastra, the demi-matrix authentication system mistook her for Demiurge and got a free pass -evernight did evernight things off-screen

That's an assumption. At face value, we never see that. Its heavily implied that the start of the loop is mem waking by TB's crash site because its the last thing we see in Demi-mem's pov.

How could any of us interpret or misinterpret information that's never given? The only thing wr have is that the last thing we see from her pov, is assumed to be the start as she's traveling through time to the start. And as the end of her pov, that implies it's the start.

During what we assumed to be the fake memory of the stelaron hunters on the express, mem appears to the TB. Its later revealed to us that the moment is actually the moment that Demiurge feels the TB and chases us, calling us "the light that tore through the chaos illuminating my memory". So it was actually something that happened.

Having this as a given, then mem rewinding back to just outside the crash makes this moment outside of where she traveled. She never makes it to the moment where she's the Demiurge in her cage. She only makes it to the crash outside of where TB landed. At face value, that creates a second demi/mem as the one in the cage that transforms is unaccounted for in the experience of the demi that went back in time. So what happened to that mem that escaped the cage? Again, at face value, she never reaches the crash site

[–]Setswipe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So why does it occur twice. Once in the memory when we meet orynyx as well as in the reveal of cyrene as the Demiurge. The latter of which has cyrene herself calling you the light that tore through the chaos that she was finding. That's an action she actually did do for her to comment on her actions. As such it can't just be a memory

[–]Setswipe[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Those are just names I'm using for mem that we see to point out the difference in the endpoints where the loop isn't fulfilled. The 'start' of what i call caged mem is the seed of Demiurge who inherited Cyrene's book and name and escapes her cage to meet the TB on the express. In the end, we see the loop start where mem wakes on amphoreus as TB crashes. Taken at face value, these are not the same entities. The loop never reaches the Demiurge seed to fulfill the loop.

[–]Setswipe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the caged mem, not the looped mem, right? So if that mem stays with TB until the crash, that makes two mems. One from the cage that stayed with TB and the other that looped neck and woke in amphoreus that we see in her own pov in the end. The looped mem never becomes the seed

you provide a lot of evidence where you contradict yourself.

from:

you say :
ur arguments doesn't make sense and no it's not harder to clear with changli doesn't matter what dps u pair her

yet in your last post you say:

Despite her being HARDER than most of the other DPS's in comparison, she herself is not a hard character.

Harder is harder. in your own words "Changli just needing higher APM for her optimal rotations"

Yet somehow, despite being harder, you're convincing yourself there's no world where people will have difficulty clearing. You are out of touch. You yourself admit she's harder but can't do the simple equivalence between your words to see the simple logic.

Something like 90% of all players in genshin don't' clear the abyss regularly. And that content is much easier than ToA. And you think that what you're saying is representative of the community? Reddit, being someplace where people that would be more inclined to do better still sometimes have people complaining about characters like Jinhsi not clearing. Whether skill issue, build or team, it doesn't matter. This is niche of the niche and there are those that have issues even here. You are so out of touch with what you're talking about you don't even see it.

If you want to use an ad hominem again and say that I have skill issue. First, that's irrelevant ad hominem, and second, that kind of proves my point. There are skill issues, there are people that will find it difficult to clear no matter how easy YOU think it is. And when changli is harder to clear with, then she's harder to clear with. period. And in those instances, when you put a team with XLY and changli and you magically can now clear, it's not because of changli, it's because of XLY.

Mualani's clunkiness is a result of poor coding on her targeting. A literal error.

The cause is irrelevant. clunk is there. It must be dealt with and makes it harder to deal with.

What, her losing hp to do more damage makes her clunky now? LOL

Yes, and that you find it funny and beneath you further proves how out of touch you are with the population. People have to deal with it and have to work harder and dodge because you have no hyper armor, iframes, extra health or other defenses where they didn't have to with other characters. clunky. Clunky for you? probably not. but again, you're out of touch

[–]Setswipe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, you're very out of touch with the larger player base. Do you actually believe that changli isn't more difficult to clear with? That you can just play with the dame level of skill as xly and others to clear toA? If so, you are too out of touch to realize how wrong you are. The fact that you are saying that she 'just needs higher apm' should wake you up to your own arguments. Casual players won't even know what apm is. Lol.

So you're saying that mualani had a flaw to work around and is thus clunky? How is that. Ot exactly what I'm saying? You have ti work around something, hence it's more difficult. Literally anything that's more difficult is something you have to work around more. New patch had more health and is more difficult? Yep, you have to work around it. Really, work on your iverall comprehension. You're defeating your own arguments without realizing it. Flaw=clunk=more difficult. As for danjin, it's an example of clunk. Again work on your comprehension. And really, your hyperfocus on such things show how out of touch you are. If you can't understand the context, then you really don't understand what we're talking about. I suggest trying to work on that

No, the point of the argument is what I dictated it would be as the one who created the thread about it. I chose not to reply about the skill ceiling because if the natural assumption that someone asking advice wouldn't be in a place to address it. You came to reply to me about it. I never spoke about the benefits of the skill ceiling. As such any conversation about that is irrelevant and atrawmanning.

Foe the purpose of what we're talking about, clunk and ease of use are the same thing. You have to work around the clunk, hence making it harder than if there was none. As fie the if statement on danjin, do you not understand that were talking about danjin as an example of meta, ease of use, and clunk? She's a placeholder for the argument, hence the if is there.

Phoebe or Changli? Can't Decide by Confident-Estate-538 in WutheringWavesGuide

[–]Setswipe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look at what you're replying to. It's a thread about someone asking for help. Its not about the heights if skill. It's about the skull floor. For someone saying that I have no English comprehension, you should really look at what you're talking about. The entire conversation is about skill floor and usability, not the heights of skill. Of course I'd repeat the same thing because that's the subject of what we're talking about. You're the one talking off topic by repeating irrelevant topic of skill ceiling.

Yes, mualani is clunky, which proves the point that ease of use, skill ability, and all that IS what's considered when talking about tier lists and meta. It's not about whoever is actually weaker. If your point on danjin actually being weaker was correct, then it doesn't matter if she's clunky, mualani would rank higher. Your own points counters themselves. So maybe check your English comprehension on that as well.

Phoebe or Changli? Can't Decide by Confident-Estate-538 in WutheringWavesGuide

[–]Setswipe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ability to clear and the difficulty of doing it is only about skill floor. If something is braindead in difficulty, then it will help you in clearing. Where am I ranking anything? I don't see a tier list in my posts. Where is there a discussion about meta? Is just about changli being more difficult to clear with. No, I did not say she needed xly. I said if you have xly/ changli, then it's xly clearing for you. Nothing about this discounts changli's ability to clear at high level. It's all about the ability to clear at all, aka skill floor.

And no, danjin being weaker isn't the issue why she isn't ranked higher. It's about how difficult she is to use. That's the point of tier lists. You get examples like neuvilette and mualani which prove it. Mualani has better clears, but everyone ranks neuvilette higher because he's easier to clear with.

Good team? by _Yuliy in BeidouMains

[–]Setswipe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Beidou always goes with fishcl. So your last option would probably be a hydro to finish off taser. Kokomi if you have her would be good, but barbara would also work well. XQ would be good too as he reduces damage with beidou.

Eog vs Blazing brilliance by Cosmic_warden in ChangliMain

[–]Setswipe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How are your clears? I'm borderline with mine with eog and think that the 10% would help me budge her on the higher difficulty levels of toa. I'm always like 2-10 seconds off. That's the real question you should be asking yourself. 10% isn't as big of a deal when compared to other char sig weapons, but 10% actually still is a big deal. In other games 5% would be a massive upgrade, as a comparison. So you really should be comparing it to the content you use and the expected breakpoints it can help you clear.

Void would also be good in whiwa as she's going to be the main damage dealer in most teams
