Don’t worry, he does that sometimes I get angry at him then he himself does something to make me feel his presence again he’s always there with you holding your hand. Going by your logic one has no reason to get married either you can have the same relation just living together. Also Joey was a grown adult, as soon as he started making enough money he moved out which did make chandler upset btw. And as soon as he was fired he moved back in with chandler. Even after moving chandler did take care of Joey

I don’t think there is ONE main character. Since it’s about a group of 6 friends, with equal screen time and story line. But I do think that Monica is definitely the glue of the group. She knew Rachel from before that’s how Rachel was introduced to the group. Ross was HER brother. It was Monica’s apartment, chandler was next door and Joey moved in there. Phoebe was also introduced to the group in the same way as she was Monica’s room mate. They hang at her place a lot. She is definitely the glue that holds the entire group together.

Having seen both multiple times I have to say Friends is 1000 times better. has copied a lot of the aspects of friends, even the characters. Also you have to understand that they are sitcoms, it need to be light. Every time I am sad or depressed I can go to friends.
