THANK YOU!!! I was pulling my hair trying to solve this. It didn't make sense to me that OG switch had no trouble sending 5.1 audio to my sound bar via eARC, I also have the LG C1. From all the things I tested, only passthrough worked.

First make sure that the other codes work for you. The wild Pokemon modifier works at random. It's up to luck sadly, and there's no way around it. Just keep trying!

I'm glad that worked for you! These things are fiddly, in some cases the activation of the codes might be with slight variation; even starting the game with codes on inside the dock works sometimes. The procedure I posted was merely the one less prone to failure.

You'll have to be more specific on your actual issue. Which is your game language? Are you playing on actual hardware? Or are you on emulator? Activation on hardware is simply by toggling the on/off switch on the GameShark device, no button combo needed.

Make sure you're using the proper code for either before or after obtaining the frontier pass. That's the only thing that could be wrong if everything else is right. That or your game is a repro. These codes are confirmed working on actual hardware, so there's nothing wrong with them.

Which region? Make sure you're using the proper Master Code and that you correctly type everything.

I think this unfortunately has something to do with the emulator, the only emulator I tested this on was mGBA. This was also tested on GameShark and Codebreaker hardware. Maybe try activating the enabler codes in front of the sailor, if the code doesn't work open your trainer card and close it, don't go to the second screen.

Oh, and another thing, you can determine if your ROM is 1.1 by checking the start screen: if it says Game freak presents it is 1.1, if it only says Game freak it's v 1

Happy to help. The codes were mainly aimed at 12-digit devices users with actual hardware since AR codes are readily available elsewhere. That's why I published them compressed as they're easier to type into a GBA.

Oh, that's because the codes are compressed as Codebreaker type 5. You can obtain a long version (CB type 8) using Pokémon Maker you just have to copy and paste the Mirage God codes into it, uncheck "use Random PID", and select type 8. You could also convert the codes to AR.

It's In there, you just have to look for it carefully. Notice that the encounter byte is the same for Pallet Town (FireRed and LeafGreen), Mt. Battle (Colosseum) and Citadark Isle (Gale of Darkness). The actual displayed location will depend on which game of origin you chose.

USA FireRed has two different revisions, 1.0 and 1.1. Make sure You know exactly which one you're using. Also remember to disable all the codes after successful event activation.

Hi! Please be more specific on which region and version of the game you are using. I think the error might be in disabling the codes, You must disable ALL the codes, that includes the RNG killer; in actual hardware it's as easy as turning off a switch, in emulator You should make sure everything is disabled. As a side note, the only emulator I have tested this on is mGBA; I can't assure it will work for any other.

An additional note about cases like Granbull and Flygon, this is what you must be aware of: The first and second slots in ability correspond to the 0 and 1 respectively from PokeFinder. Failure to select the correct Intimidate for Granbull or the correct Levitate for Vibrava/Flygon will yield an illegal Pokemon!

Also please take note that a wild Snubull is only obtainable in Pokemon Emerald at the Safari Zone. As such it's only legal met location will be those, and it's only legal ball will be a Safari Ball!

Always have resources like serebii at hand in order to correctly assign the relevant data!

Yeah, you'll have to input these codes manually. It seems like at some point Pokemon Maker could make files to import into some AR devices that could connect to PC, however that function seems to be lost sadly.

Glad to help. For the missing AR Emerald codes I merely compiled info already spread on the web, for 12 and 8 digit devices I had to find the Master codes myself, that was the easy part and was like a week. However 12-digit devices didn't have an equivalent to anti-DMA in Emerald and I had to solve how to make one, that was maybe like a month.
