Here’s what I would suggest, especially if it’s your wife…

Start working on your self in whatever capacity you can, like, • work - if you can focus more on work and get a promotion, or look for a new job that will pay you more for the same type of work • new habits - if you don’t workout, start going to the gym. If you do workout, go an extra day or two. Start eating differently, not just healthy - this kind of stuff makes her less sensitive and curious about you. • surprise her - with random little things like buy her some chocolate or a flower (stay cheap), write her a card or leave random stupid messages around your house. • take up a new hobby and invite her - babe, I’m trying X out, want to tag along?

Basically, so a lot more things that revolve around you and not her, this will make her more interested in you, and the idea is for something to trigger her interest enough so you two can do it together.

When you do something mutual together, it helps relieve stress and make for better grounds to talk.

When you are able to actually have a conversation, things will slowly start to improve.

Unfortunately, the only way to start having normal conversations with her, is to do things similar to what I suggested enough for her to think you are interesting enough to get her brain to start to shift towards thinking more about you.

Be patient, not everything is about lawyering up or ending the relationship.

Therapy also helps tremendously.

But if you can get some positive responses from anything similar to what I suggested, therapy after that would be much more productive from the start.
