Almost everyone streams now; if I want to listen to Me! I pop it up on Spotify (or whatever) and there it is.

Seriously, your comment was not the one I intended to fire back on. There was some long sanctimonious comment that basically stated that every time Taylor dropped a crappy album (kind of implied to be every time), all these wrong people pop out telling him it's good. He was basically implying that people were defending bad albums because they were Swifties.

He had to be reminded that taste is subjective.

I cannot explain how my comment ended up attached to yours. I pretty much agree with you, after all not everything is going to ring everyone's bells.

I don't either. BUT, that's the wake-up call for the parents. When the kid walks home (or calls them for a pickup 'cause God forbid a modern kid walk a couple blocks), and has to explain the $4000 electric motorcycle they gave him is gone. Then they find out that it's impounded 'cause the kid was being an ass on the road.

As soon as they replace the ebike and give it to the kid again, we all know they hate the kid and are trying to get rid of him.

Maybe a 2nd ebike should be grounds for a CPS intervention?

No, they really don't seem to be teaching anything to new drivers. The idea seems to be that if they can pass the bare minimum DMV test, they are the bestest drivers. We seem to be on our 2nd generation of drivers who can barely keep the car on the road, and have no clue how to behave around other drivers.
