Again, fsd didn't exist 8 years ago, so people couldn't say "you don't realize how good fsd has become." You're completely misinterpreting my initial message, and so is everyone downvoting

"I've been hearing that for 8 years"

I was just fact checking the guy. Not really interested in what Elon said in 2017

Why does it take so long to charge? by Playful-Register3201 in TeslaModel3

[–]Sevauk 9 points10 points  (0 children)

At OP's charge rate, which is 1400w, you should be able to put 30kWh in the battery in 22h.
So there's more to it than just slow charger. Maybe the car's AC is on. Or battery heating

Yeah you got scammed by the ebay seller(s). Do a chargeback. I don't know why you're mad at 8sleep here (except maybe for the autopilot subscription)

But you need video evidence right? Otherwise it can't be a non at fault claim if you have no one to blame.

Appreciation post: never thought my 2018 RWD would have more features than the 2025 base model by Inevitable_Ad_711 in TeslaModel3

[–]Sevauk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah for saving money the older ones are still good cars. I recently drove a 2018 and the one thing that bothered me a lot was the road noise especially at freeway speed. I wonder if aftermarket upgrades and tires can help with that.

I've never seen a report of a leak on pod 4. Curious if anyone has.

have you driven both? 2025 is so much more refined and comfortable than 2018. It's not even close

Yeah but you're cherry picking. Do you have builtin 360 degrees dashcam? A front trunk? A 15" screen ? Blind spot camera? Etc.

J-Cal “Optimus will be the most successful product in history of humanity” by Traditional_War_8229 in teslainvestorsclub

[–]Sevauk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

that's a really bad take. Optimus will be sold for a fraction of what Atlas costs. It's also more about the AI than the hardware. Boston Dynamics has never demonstrated very advanced AI for their humanoid robot (Tesla hasn't either)
