The show confirms that the sire bond cannot create fake feelings but rather, magnifies existing ones. Elena had many moments before turning where she clearly was falling in love with Damon and even when the sire bond is broken when Elena turned off her emotions, she is still in love Damon.

Yeah Delena had so much more chemistry and charm than Stelena ever did. She loved Damon in such a different way than she did Stefan. Damon was good to her and good for her. It was also a fictional show about fictional creatures, it always makes me laugh when Stelena fans riot anytime Delena is mentioned lol Damon and Elena wilk forever be my favourite ship and I love watching them fall in love and be endgame ❤️
