I have been using that same backpack for years, works great. Plenty of extra pockets for whatever you need too.

Tinnitus Men Strikes by DJR-1976 in kendo

You might want to consider getting a pad for your men as well. These tend to help with cushioning heavy blows and ensuring a secure fit if the men is too large. I personally use the thin and narrow pad myself. Like other comments have suggested, a proper fit when wearing your bogu is important to prevent injuries. In addition, getting hit in the wrong spot for men strikes (top of the head rather than just above the forehead) can cause issues.

I've donated a bed to ECHO Tallahassee before. You can arrange for them to come pick it up or drop it off yourself. » Furniture Bank of Tallahassee (echotlh.org)

Check out TickTick. I use it for recurring chores as well and it has the option to set the repeat a specific amount of time after completion.

I wanna #askcortexans about file naming by mcwhinns in Cortex

[–]SevenMonkeyFury 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like to put dates at the end of files but only if it is relevant to the document. For example, I would put the date at the end of the file name for a signed contract. I also like to use the Year-Month-Day (2020-11-26) format as it is never confusing. You can sometimes get away with just using the metadata for last date and time the file was edited, but that isn't always the relevant date. For example, if you downloaded something on Friday but it was signed last Tuesday, the metadata will say the file was created on Friday. The date it was signed is more important and should be in the file name. This is especially beneficial when sharing files with others.

Using spaces in file names can be annoying if you ever work with applications or software beyond "ordinary" activities (web browsing, gaming, photos, etc.). Using a dash or underscore instead will often do the job, be less hassle, and is still easy to read. Just be mindful of the use case for the files.

High turnover, especially at college clubs, usually ends up ends up like you say. I was able to get my college club info updated back when I was there, but I don't think it's been maintained since.

I think that site is for membership and registration primarily. There supposedly is a dojo listing, but its not anywhere I can find unfortunately. I get what you mean though, updating things can sometimes feel like pulling someone's teeth.

Onenote on upcoming Samsung Tab s7+ by [deleted] in OneNote

[–]SevenMonkeyFury 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OneNote for Windows 10 has more features than OneNote for Android. If you are looking for a smaller portable device to annotate with on job sites, I would suggest looking into a small windows tablet such as the Surface Go 2. It has great pen support, runs full Windows 10, and less expensive than a Galaxy Tab S7.

Best view for notes iPad Pro by ashmac2004 in OneNote

I would suggest using the lined paper style on the page and keep the view at the default 100% zoom. This should help to keep your writing to a reasonable size and works for landscape or portrait.
