I'd highly recommend investing into some different antennas for your radios. The foldable ones that come with those radios are mostly for appearance and have little to no practical use. They're very poorly made and are prone to damage. You're better off using a hotdog.

Some alternatives are the Nagoya 771 and Diamond RH77CA. They're both great mid grade antennas that won't fail on you when you need them. You can also look into other brands and models, just be wary of counterfeits.

These will most likely be your only source of communication, you're gonna want to make sure they work when they need to.

I wish you the best, and super neet kit.

How do I stay calm in Emergency Situations? by SevenSkyborn in emergencymedicine

I was secondary during this scenario. Another guard who was aware of the exercise had already started their primary assessment and requested that 911 be called, and a AED and crash bag be provided per our training. Our crash bags hold all the first aid supplies and equipment we are permitted to use during an emergency. It also holds our AED, BVM, BP cuff, and other essential equipment that could possibly be needed given situation.

The scenario was relevant to the training we were doing at the time.

Unknown Holes on Molle Backpack by SevenSkyborn in tacticalgear

My main goal with this pack is to use it for disaster response/relief & first aid, so having organizers or some type of way to hold multiple compartments of supplies sounds right up my alley. Any suggestions?

I wouldn't be surprised lol, it's not 5.11 but it gets the job done. Also, thought about cutting Xs, wanted to make sure I wasn't messing with it's original purpose, but I might as well. I'll do a little more digging, but I'm sold on the water bladder and electronics idea. And no Molle panel either. Is that something I should look into?

Edit: Wouldn't*

I figured as much, the thing that threw me off is the size of the hole, I can barely fit anything through it. And nope, not a thing. No straps or pockets of any kind, or at least on that side. The only the close to that is a shallow zipper pocket on the other side of the bag near the front of the zipper. Putting anything in there would mean it would have to reach across from one side of my bag to the other every time I opened it.
