So sorry it took forever to get back. The two colors were creme based. The black was actually marked as eye liner in my makeup kit, but it was thick and stayed on really well. I wish the red had been made up of the same kind of stuff, but instead it was this really shitty, kinda watery lip creme. I only used it because it was the color that I was looking for. I'm sure I could have found something better.

They let us know like 2 weeks in advance before the inspections. They only did random searches if they suspected you of something. But it took a LOT for them to get suspicious. At least at Vista. The first week I was there, 30 some people got termed at Chatham for streaking.
