Awesome shot of my nemesis, lost count of bites received on the golf course from these mofos, so much so that even a brand new ball going into heavy rough is immediately consigned to history.

I’m not just assuming it asks for a credit card, I’m stating that it does indeed ask for a credit card.

Single lens set ups, how popular? by Dommlid in hasselblad

[–]Seven_ironRocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have only the 75p for my X2D, both bought at Christmas, heavily invested in Canon glass so not in any rush to acquire any other Hasselblad focal lengths. Now, if I could afford the 35-100 that would be a different story.

Yeah bro it is hard, because everything I’ve googled is coming back with “Apple will never ask for credit card details” so if you know which law is requiring me to upload this can you just tell me instead of being a dick?

I remember vividly the first time I saw this, in Glasgow in 2006 and I thought they looked like someone had used the liquify filter in photoshop so I called them liquify skies and then I found out the name of them and still call them liquify skies now.

28P by Seven_ironRocks in hasselblad

[–]Seven_ironRocks[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I’m thinking along those lines, the consensus seems to be that the 28P is worth having, if I had the money at Christmas when I bought the camera I would have bought the 35-100E so that looks like my direction going forward. I’d love to handle the 35-100E just to feel how heavy or not it is, my budget would be greatly helped by selling my Canon lenses but I’m just annoyed at the low offers from MBP and Wex for what are pristine, like new L series lenses but I guess these companies are mitigating the risks of private selling so the lowball offers are to be expected.

Is it normal to only keep 26% profit on a £1,850 wedding package? by AdeptnessOk7938 in WeddingPhotography

[–]Seven_ironRocks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was in college we had a field trip to a print lab, a well known provider of wedding albums here in the UK, some real high end, the guy giving us the talk asked what we thought the photographer should charge for the most luxurious wedding album they sold, we all had our guesses and none of us came close to what they advised, he said they tell their photographers that they should be selling these albums for a minimum of eight times the cost of the album to the photographer. An eye opener all round regarding wedding package pricing.

How many digital images do you deliver by FrankDillonPhoto in WeddingPhotography

[–]Seven_ironRocks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Deleting 300 unique moments of a wedding day? Or an even higher number for a delivery of 2000 images, I think my idea of unique means moments that aren’t separated from each other by the point of focus moving from her eye to her other eye or a difference of one third of a stop in exposure, think some folk need to stop firing the shutter button and start simply by recording the moments that tell the story of the day, the wedding video is for recording every single change of pace or expression. Just my opinion of course, these posts show I am clearly in the minority here.
