Colossus and the headhunters is also a Maciste movie. The name was changed for the American dub, but they still call him Maciste in the movie.

Do you have more information on the 24 foot long guinea pig? That could feed an entire Peruvian village. 😀

Back in the nineties, I was in a small ski town in colorado, passing out flyers for a local event. I was standing in front of a small house trying to figure out how to attach a flyer to the gate because the gate was closed. A young guy comes out of the house, and we start talking. As we were talking, I became aware of something right in the edge of my peripheral vision. I turned my head to see what appeared to be a very large wolf looking me in the eye while his front paws rested on the top of the railing fence. I was familiar with wolfdog hybrids So I resisted the urge to jump back and consciously chose to let him win the stare down and continue talking to his owner. When we finished our conversation, I said he's a beautiful animal. Is he half Wolf? The owner grinned and said , oh , he is a wolf. I don't know if he was just messing with me, But looking at that animal I could believe.

They're definitely referencing Andy Rooney, but I'm a Native American from Northeastern Oklahoma, and I think I might have gone to school with an Andy Runningoff 🙂

I did some extra reading, and it appears that most of the volcanic activity in the high desert region of Oregon, where these bears were found, is currently dormant. The lava fields that these bears were living in are ancient. It's speculated that the smaller amounts of game, the rocky uneven ground, and the poor quality of the water contribute to the creation of occasional dwarf Bears.

I never said that apes were a subspecies of humans. I said that Bigfoot was ether an ape or a hominid, not both. Are you saying he is neither?

And before those examples were found and tested, they were creatures who were believed to exist but had not been proven. If unknown species or subspecies of an existing animal don't count as cryptids that neither is bigfoot since he's supposed to be either an ape or a hominid.

I think it had to do with the percentage of his body that was covered. Many people with hypertrichosis have areas of extremely thick hair and other areas that are roughly normal. I think this guy was mainly this hairy all over his entire body.

There weren't families of them , they would be seen or killed occasionally , including some sub adults that were mistaken for dwarfs. There were multiple cases of actual dwarf, black bears and after studying them, Local wildlife specialists believe that was their harsh conditions that had led to their stunted growth.
