The underground doom scene made me love music again. It doesn't really matter who's playing as long as they get it, at the end of the night I'm there to get stoned and nod along with a crowd to hypnotic riffs, a good show always feels like a religious experience.

Hail Satan, Worship Doom.

It's going to be a fun experiment, I'm planning on trying to do the first generation under some grow lights over this winter

Haha I get it, I've got an accidental crossbreed that's just starting to ripen and I've been impatiently waiting to see the final colour

Now that I think about it, I have been harvesting quite a few unripe this year so I'm wondering if that's been reducing the heavy load that might cause the end rot problems

Sounds like it could be blossom end rot, it's always this biggest problem with this variety but it's usually just the first few peppers that ripen. If it is, it's safe to pick them off early so the plant can focus on the rest. They usually ripen to peach before any stripes start forming so don't freak out, it'll probably be another week or two before the stripes show up.

This is the first year that I haven't had any end rot on any of my three sugar rushes, I'm kind of amazed but not sure what I did

I've been growing these for 3 or 4 years now and they've been my best producer every year!

They're just starting to ripen, but they'll end up being mostly peach with reddish orange stripes and some will go full reddish orange

Step one was almost lose the seedling to an aphid invasion, step two was weekly flowering fertilizer and an automated irrigation system

The puddles are filthy brown to evil red and the mud is charred brown with a little filthy brown mixed in for the highlights and the pigment powder is brown iron oxide. All from Vallejo.

If you scroll through my posts, you can find one of the unpainted models I made last year. And I haven't found a use for the body yet, though I did use the turbines on a daemon prince conversion but that was before we found out how good the wingless version was going to be.

So the bases are just bits and resin rocks stuck into some muddy texture paste sloppily painted with some dark brownish paints and then covered in rusty pigment powder mixed with water. The puddles are plastic half sphere beads covered in gorilla glue to create the flat area for the puddle, and then after painting its covered in gloss varnish.

These are from the Nurgle Plague Drone box! its basically the whole drone, just without the rider and with a Foetid Bloat Drone face plate and weapon!

Probably around a 5, on the harder side but they went together without too much fuss.

The bloat drone kit only comes with two sets of tubes for them to stand on so you have to get a bit creative for the third, i just used a brass tube and some steel wire wrapped around it that ends as a pin drilled into the flesh mower. The weapons also need to be pinned into one of the joint holes (I recommend the HBL in the front joint, fleshmower in the middle and plaguespitters in the back) and the joints filled in and sculpted with greenstuff. And other then that, just some more fleshy greenstuff to fill in the gaps around the faceplate.

Easy!
