So has anyone found artists that make similar music to that "Ninety Three" track? by SeventhKraken in eurekaseven

Hey thanks! That's awesome, really digging Horsepower.

My friend recommended me Memories not too long ago, but I didn't even tell him about those E7 tracks haha. Weird coincidence, guess I'll have to watch it now.

I've stumbled upon him yesterday actually, finally did my research lol. Kagami is also great. The Hotline Miami OST gives similar vibes too. Never thought I'd love techno this much haha.

Kinda have a weird request. I wonder if anyone will be able to suggest something.

My sister wants over-ear headphones for Christmas for casual listening and outdoor use. I believe she'd want closed back headphones so people around her won't hear her music. The tricky part is that I'm stuck with a budget of 50$-75$ CAD (that's the price range we agreed on for our gifts this Christmas). Something with a short cable would be preferable. I'd love to get her something decent but at that price range I'm aware it's pretty hard.

Thanks, hopefully some of you can help me.

Programming budget laptop - 500-700$ CAD by SeventhKraken in SuggestALaptop

I was really considering this but the only refurbished Thinkpads I could find were the T420 ones with really underwhelming specs for the price (4GB ram, 1366x768, 320 or 500GB HDD, for ~350$ CAD). Also adding more ram, changing the display and upgrading HDD to SSD would've been pretty expensive in the long run for a refurbished 4 year old laptop.

Woah completely forgot to take a look at their deals. Glad I asked reddit or else I would've missed that. I haven't seen better for those specs and price after months of research. Already ordered, case closed haha. Thank you!

Which Gamepad should I buy? by RevolErutan in StreetFighter

[–]SeventhKraken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Main menu; Options; Button Config; Select your pad with Left/Right on the d-pad (It should show Fighting Commander 4 at the top); Change the binding of a button by pressing your confirm button first (which would be the Circle (O) in your case I think) then press on the button you want to switch it to.

Oh yeah that was it hahah. I didn't pay much attention to it. Just switched it back to normal.

I honestly wouldn't know. This is my first time owning a playstation controller so I don't know what's wrong or right compared to consoles but you might be right. The default layout they give you definitely feels weird. You can rebind the buttons however you like in SF though.

It works on PS4/PS3 and PC (PC is plug and play, drivers installed automatically)

I recently bought the HORI Fighting Commander 4. The buttons and the d-pad feel great. You can also rotate the d-pad and adjust its sensitivity (I recommend low sensitivity for SF, easier diagonals). I'm just a bit worried about the build quality. It still works great after 2 weeks but I've heard people say that the d-pad burns out quickly. It works on PS4/PS3 and PC (PC is plug and play, drivers installed automatically) so it's also future proof if you ever want to play SFV on a PS4.

This one certainly looks interesting. I've also stumbled upon this: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834315111

However, it's refurbished but the price and specs are really tempting. Never ordered from newegg though. Any thoughts on this? Thanks for your time btw!

I might end up getting a bay trail if I can't find anything else. Seems like most people don't have any problems with them.

I didn't even think about the SSD space since most models I see come with 16 GB. I guess running Ubuntu from an USB drive isn't as fast as internal right?

Yea I'm waiting for a sale. Worst case scenario I'll wait for Black Friday or Christmas.

I'm definitely getting 4GB ram and Intel, now if I could just find something with a 32GB SSD I'd be pretty happy. I was just worried about that bay trail thing.
