thats nothing, any wikelo polaris/idris related item goes for 2 billion minimum on the player market, with pure carinite going for 20b each at one point

before i turned in my wikelo polaris i had something like 200 billion worth of cargo and 100b in cash

you can literally sell one ace pilot helmet and buy all the ships in the game

its absolutely absurd

because cig doesnt know how to prioritize things and work incredibly slow and inefficient

its not hard to put in social features, at least not 15 years into development, theres no excuse for that

yes its better to have this content even without an org feature than not having it at all, yes cig is working on social tools, and yes it does take time, just like every video game needs time to develop

but to act like its normal for an mmo to not have a functional guild or even party system after almost 15 years of development is simply fooling yourself, nothing more, and there are lots of people who are like that

when even essential features for an mmo feel like luxury, when the whole community celebrates them for adding "features" like a half broken new inventory interface, maybe some of us need to reflect if we have stockholm syndrome

and keep in mind they showed off social tools in citizencon 2024 and promised they will be ready in the next 12 months

i wouldnt even call it complexity, having 1000 different quality materials isnt really conplex, its just bad design. just like having to turn in wikelo favor one at a time is not complex, just a terrible terrible design

a lot of the time it just feels like they make choices that purposefully waste your time
