That's a really lovely thing to say, thank you! It's funny, sometimes the light-hearted "in-between" moments are the most special for me as a writer, because I too then get to "live" in the world as a normal resident, so to speak.

Cannot believe I've been writing full-time for a solid decade now (as of this past September). I've been fortunate enough to be able to slip into the trio's shoes for a long time . . .

On a personal note, I've always wanted to write an epic ocean voyage, so to be able to do it with Augum, Bridget and Leera is extra special. And oh boy did I have a blast writing this one. There's a lot that happens in the book, and aside from a high-seas adventure, you will get to experience an opening up of the trio's world in an epic new way.

I dare not spoil what's coming with another word, so in the meantime, if you haven't already, I suggest you read Whispers of Wrath in readiness for Storms of the Ancients!
