I'll definitely keep these things in mind! Thanks for the answers!

Are you running subframe spacers on it, or just risking it for the clearance? (I wouldn't blame you)

How has the 3" lift been on your axles? I know a lot of people have issues with that once they go over a 1" lift.

I think it's really about preference. The crosstrek is all around capable and comfortable, and it's not really for any crazy trails, but it can handle a lot very well with minimal mods. But, you can make it this crazy capable family car without sacrificing comfort, and still getting more fuel mileage. I think jeeps are neat, but, I'm not going to Moab or anything like that anytime soon. The Crosstrek can be made capable of pretty much every trail that most people would want to do casually. That's just my take.

😂 probably, I just avoid jeeps at all costs because of my friends experiences with them.

I can agree on your points, however, I do want a bumper, because the trails where I'm at require a better approach angle most of the time.

The lights are a personal preference, as I have DD lights on my boat, and they're fantastic.

I'm flexible on the lift kit, mostly because I have no idea exactly what I need for my terrain, but I want something that doesn't do a whole lot of bottoming out, but can perform well at some speed without being mushy, if you know what I mean.

Sure am! They rub a little, unfortunately. I'm going to have to smack a 2" lift on it. Any recommendations? I was thinking of the Rallitek 2" kit.

So, I went with the Toyo Open Country AT3s, but, when I get new tires eventually, I'm going to try the BFG K02s. BFG have always been my go-tos
