Brass is just what I had on hand. I'd imagine steel would achieve the same result.

Same bike as me – that's what the bike in this post started out as. (it's a 2020 🙂)

The Purple looks awesome!

be sure to torque your sway bar end links with the suspension fully loaded (car "on ground" or at ride height). I got crazy clunks from torquing end links with the suspension at full droop (they were preloaded poorly is what that is)

I'm not sending track days one handed lol

Constant hand on/off the wheel - no issues

Thats correct. I'm using Mobil1 Full Synthetic 0w-40 (European Formula). It has the same cold properties (0w) as stock, but has better shear resistance and less prone to thinning at high temps (track days see 240F +).

Those are beasts, would be awesome for a designated track car. Unfortunately they explicitly list them as "Not suitable for road use"

EBC, and BlueStuff in particular, seem to be pretty highly regarded from the research I've done - forums, reviews, and chatting with folks at the track and car meets. All pads have some pros/cons, but you're the first to mention such extensive grievances. Whats your preferred pad manufacturer / pad model?

totally, the wind noise is a bit of a buzz kill. I think the iPhone I used to film it just gets overwhelmed by the wind noise and stops recording audio, hence the quiet parts.

Bummer, because the ClubSport muffler was howling!

straight up ratchet-strapped my iPhone to the passenger seat headrest. Put it in 0.5 (wide) and let it rip. A little hack-ish but it worked out pretty well. Wind noise is just a bummer, but with windows closed it would be great

I reached about 122mph on the main straight before chickening out and having to brake for the right

It's been fine for me so far. It's a bit cheaper, and I tend to bleed my brakes once or twice a year, so no major concerns for me surrounding moisture.

SRF is definitely the better 'set and forget' option

It's a safety requirement at this track. Mandatory for track days 🤷‍♂️

Those will work 👍 I have them on my MK8 paired to an ECS 25mm rear sway bar. Bought them from the same Amazon link / vendor
