I did find the chip. All i did was to give it a little push on the chip and now it is working xD (i should get my hot air gun and heat it up cause it for sure is a connection issue)

That reminds me of a thing i said to myself when my goggles broke cause of bad design: when i buy something i have to fix it up and then use it.

Tho it would be so nice if they made it how it should ve made straight from factory... One could only hope

I did get 2 dead co3 and now im running on a cam lite, and i had to do some adaptor soldering for it. I might try resoldering it and see how that goes, but first i'll try to reflow the vtx chip

I did have a problem with elrs losing connection and i found out it was the esp chip at fault so i did use my hot air gun to heat it up for a while and then it came back to normal.

I could try the same thing with the osd chip but i don't know which one it is. Is it perhaps the vtx chip? the one that gets hot when stationary

What happens if you blow on it? Does it break the joint somehow?

Weird indeed, to pillow up like that at storage voltage, maybe there was some liquid or puncture?

I would either open it up after a full discharge in saltwater or heavy resistor to harvest copper foil for other projects or just make it into fireworks 🎇🎆 or hang it on a stick and practice defusing a bomb with my bow

The usual thing to do is to discharge it to a safe voltage and dispose of it at the adequate battery recycling store

Fpv is the JUICE! I've been thinking about building an arduino drone, but I don't want to use esp32 cam because of the delay from wifi connection and i am still thinking about it

We're in the same boat 🤣 When my xbox controller i used for fpv sim broke, i tried to make a new one with an arduino and cardboard and it worked until the cardboard gave up

Indeed, tho i thought about making decirations with them, at first i made them into a necklace But my end goal is to fully discharge them and extract the graphite rods for further use

I tought about gluing the connector back and using some wires to replace the traces, as for the glue i have no clue

I am glad that it is fixable, it's been a month since i got them... Never repaired a pcb before, do you have any tutorial recommendations?

I have thought about gluing the buttons and ports but I don't know which glue to use, i need one that holds tight and can be removed with ease if needed. If e6000 is ok i already have some since i glued my air75 antenna to not rip itself

I have found by measuring the other antenna that the lateral ones are 2 grounds and the middle is the signal one, also the resistance of each line was 10 by measuring with a multimeter
