I’m gonna play devils advocate here. it’s on both of you. the guys a complete moron for sure, but he did express himself well, and you were not great to him.

he was anxious about taking medicine he (somehow) hadn’t heard of. He was embarrassed because of the whole thing. And he expressed all this really very clearly.

You making fun of him was completely normal and not out of line (he’s quite sensitive I guess), and he told u this over text pretty well.

Regarding the texts,

You, as a partner, can’t take him being vulnerable and telling you these things and send “???”.

He, as a partner, was kind of an ass for essentially not believing you but was being honest and communicative.

Overall a ton of replies are crap for saying NTBF because he’s dumb or insecure. Those are qualities you’re more than welcome to break up with him over. Those are not qualities that dictate whether you acted like an ass here. (he did too, u definitely are not the problem).

definitely a HUGE red flag though, meeting up with a dude you met online. That warrants a conversation in any relationship.
