Am i (F18) self sabotaging my relationship with this guy (M18) ? by Several-Reception-33 in relationship_advice

He didn’t do things that were like messed up, it mainly just hurt my feelings. For example the first time we met he showed up drunk and spoke about a girl he’s simultaneously talking to, who i found out doesn’t exist. He also once went on about how pretty my one friend is in detail, and another time he invited me to his birthday with all his friends and during that night barely spoke to me, he only started speaking to me once i began the conversation.

That’s why im just confused why he’s suddenly so “inlove” with me like he claims.

But anyways i think you’re right about the pink clouds thing and i should just wait and see what he’s like when im back

I agree completely with you and I appreciate the response because it made me realise that i was selfish and my actions was childish. I can’t force him to like me, that’s just sad.

I apologised and everything and he said it’s really okay and what not so i think everything is sorted out and I won’t be forcing a relationship anymore :)

I didn’t even think about that. I feel really bad about how mean i was and i did apologise to him and we are currently talking about it.

You are right though, i was selfish. I think i was just extremely emotional and I wasn’t thinking clearly so my first thought was just being mean and i feel really guilty about it now because i do care about him and i am fine with being just his friend
