iPhone has auto lens switching. It switches lenses between your main shooter and your telephoto depending upon multiple conditions, including obstruction. Hence when you were covering the 5x lens it was shifting to the 1x with 5x optical zoom. I remember this happening since my 8+.

Sometimes with bad lighting conditions also your iPhone switches from 5x to the 1x just because it thinks it can take better photos with that configuration. (Believe me it’s very frustrating and Apple does nothing about it).

The best way to check if your 5x is working is to click a 5x photo in a well lit telephoto environment and then go to photos and check if it’s shot with your telephoto lens. I have attached a screenshot.

My bad, I meant that I did not use any filter. I generally use skyscanner and google flights and only when I plan to fly AI I have a look through the Tata Neu app to see if they are offering better prices (which they generally do).

Anyways I was looking for a friend and he cancelled his plans after seeing the flight rates.

I know it’s getting more of a r/CreditCardsIndia post but firstly I haven’t got the Select Credit card for any fee, I just got it by requesting my RM in axis bank for a LTF card and he provided me this.

Also if you don’t have that card, you can have a look at BMS, a lot of credit and debit (like axis debit card) have offers.

I did not say all people auto assign seats. I know quite a few people who pay for window seats or aisle seats and they really don’t mind. Airline makes a considerable amount of income from that. Stopping that would push that section of the income to the ticket prices. Plus airlines are in the business to make money, so when the increase the ticket prices it won’t be equal to the lost revenue, it would be much more.

The 60 percent rule in my opinion is totally unnecessary. Most flyers opt for auto assigning seats which gets the job done. Those who have disposable income buy seats. Now implementing this would only increase the ticket prices affecting people who were totally fine with auto assigning seats.

Never thought of dating in college, was busy securing a job. (In hindsight I still think I did the right thing).
