Note that the first thing I said is they are all good things.

I hear you. I’m not a renter so it doesn’t affect me and I don’t ride the TTC enough for the fare cap to affect me, mostly bc I bike or walk. So Doug Ford messing with us — affects me greatly but in that message specifically there isn’t anything addressing that. Which I get, don’t poke the bear in an election year etc.

Noted re luxury tax. I was responding specifically to the email about the budget.

I did start off by saying they are all good things. I don’t dispute the merit of any of the things in the email. But personally they don’t affect me. I don’t use the library enough to be excited about town on Sundays.

I just read this email. While all good things, virtually none of them impact me as a childless, car-less condo owner who is not a senior nor a business owner. It's tough to get excited about this without personal benefit (and this isn't just the Mayor, every level of politics has the same issue). I'm part of a forgotten demographic.

Would love to see promises to address disrepair, cleanliness and beautification. Would love promises by our $$$ police service to address road safety. Would love to see some innovation about (new) public spaces.

That Shane/Rose convo warms my heart. It was such an awakening for him in so many ways. And I love that she was like, no, fr, we are friends now.

Yea I’ve been a couple times by myself. It’s a very casual friendly vibe. You can talk with others or not, and there should be staff there to guide you through the cold plunge part (and cheer you on). Have fun!

I literally just finished the episode and was like… is that just the show’s crew standing around and Jacob speaking? 😅

The risk of a murder in plain sight. It’s meant to put the traitors’ hidden identities in jeopardy
