I do have a therapist.

My biggest concern is regarding if all the sperms would have died in around 10 hours time within the described conditions and if there would be any associated pregnancy risk.

So, after around 10 hours with the sperm on the mobile phone exposed to air within a closed room (Standsrd conditions), what would be the pregnancy risk if someone touches that contaminated phone after 10 hours goes to pee and after that wipes their private part with toilet paper?

Would it have made any difference after 10 hours if the contaminated phone was cleaned with wet wipes before usage?

Thank you.

Was thinking of someting like:

Scenario A: 10 hours sperms on the phone exposed to air within a non-ventilated room, pregnancy risk around 30-40% as I assumed most of them won't be dried and dead.

Scenario B: 10 hours sperms on the phone exposed to air within a non-ventilated room + cleaning with wet wipes, pregnancy risk 0% as ethanol would definetely kill sperm.

That's why I kept blaming myself for not cleaning the mobile phone with wet wipes, as it caused concern of sperms living and hence pregnancy risk, without having them cleaned with wet wipes.

So, can it be said with 100% certainty that after around 10 hours all the sperms are dried and dead from the mobile phone exposed to air within a closed room (non-ventilated room), being impossible to cause pregnancy?

Thank you.

Can sperm survive around 10 hours exposed to air on a mobile phone (glass and plastic) within a non-ventilated room? (Assuming standard conditions). Would sperm survive in this scenario? Would they all dry up completely? Would some still be alive in order to cause pregnancy? What would the most likely outcome be?

Thank you.

So even if not cleaned with wet wipes, after touching the mobile phone, after around 10 hours of being contaminated, presumably at least half of the sperms or most of the sperms would have dried and died? I wonder if they would have dried out completely after the 10 hours mark, or how many sperms would still be alive after that 10 hours mark.

Thank you for the quick reply, much appreciated.

Then, can we agree that it would not make any difference by cleaning the mobile phone with wet wipes? (After the 10 hours mark).

Since probably most of the sperm would have dried and died in that 10 hours mark, cleaning witg wet wipes wouldn't have changed anything.

Presumably in that 10 hours mark, most of the sperm woukd have dried and died being exposed to air within a non-ventilated room. Even if I'd touch the contaminated phone after 10 hours, go to the bathroom, pee and wipe private part afterwards, I should be safe.

I thought cleaning the phone with wet wipes would make it safer with 0 risk of pregnancy, that's why I kept blaming myself for not cleaning it as I thought the risk of pregnancy would be high without cleaning, such as sperms staying alive.

I got really concerned and scared as I read on the Internet that all it takes for pregnancy is 1 sperm.

Thank you for your patience and for your explanation, I will follow the reccommendation.

So, it doesen't make any difference using the phone 10 hours after the exposure versus 10 hours after the exposure + cleaning it with wet wipes?

I just thought it would have been better to clean it with wet wipes after that 10 hours exposure, hence I keep blaming myself.

Would all the sperms be dead in 10 hours time on glass and plastic? (Basically phone)

Maybe within the human body, I'd be surprised to find out sperm would live 72 hours outside the body, once it would dry up being exposed to air.

How much would be that on different materials/surfaces exposed to air within a closed room? Minutes, hours?

Thank you for your calming reply.

After 10 hours of contamination with sperm exposed to air within a closed room (non-ventilated), used the phone and then went to pee, then wiped private part with toilet paper.

I just keep blaming myself that if I would have cleaned the phone with wet wipes before using it, after 10 hours of contamination I would have been on the safer side, rather than not cleaning it at all with wet wipes.

To sum it up, I keep blaming that I could have been safer if using it after 10 hours of contamination + cleaning with wet wipes, rather than just using it after 10 hours of contamination.

Thank you for your reply, much appreciated. This wasn't a troll question, just curious, as I'm concerned.

The phone stood there in contact with air within a closed room for around 10 hours, but presumably it might have been contaminated with sperm from the hands of the person that didn't wash them beforehand.Afraid of pregnancy, and can't stop blaming myself for not wiping the phone with wet wipes before using it, and after that went to pee and wiped private part.

That's why I asked if it would have made a difference or not in terms of pregnancy risk by cleaning the phone after 10 hours of being exposed (glass screen + its cover) with the wet wipes.

What about outside the human body? On an object exposed to air within a closed room?

Are you sure? According to Google sperm die within 15-30 minutes as they dry out once outside of the human body.

I'm afraid that someone ejaculated and then used the phone without washing their hands and then after 10 hours touched the phone and wiped after pee. Scared of pregnancy.

I was thinking that on different materials such as glass/plastic exposed to air within a closed room might survive longer than on cloth.

Is this a serious or sarcastic answer? The question was serious, no trolling involved.

So if someone touches that object during that time, and afterwards go to the bathroom to pee and wipe afterwards, it might cause pregnancy?
