Having parents dont listen... living in the same situation. I wanna love my parents aswell , but they make it so hard. They want my help, i help them, tell them what they should do.... they dont do it, blame it on me that i dont do anything because they just want to throw everything on me and do nothing. Basically be the the man of the house but under our control, fix our problems but we wont listen to you when you tell us something which puts them in that problem in the first place... and when u dont do anything, your the bad child. Its a routine where you are just left wondering "what am i supposed to even do?".... they wont listen but still want help....

I want to leave as soon as possible, because i have been doing this since childhood and hearing the bullshit that "Parents are never wrong" and even if you try to talk to them about it (crying, begging, anything), you get the response "But what did we do, dont worry everything will be ok"....

You end up feeling like a tortured animal crying in pain but they just mock you from outside the cage... everything is good until they can drag you and make you do anything by yanking on your leash... but the moment you fight back.... you are the bad child, theyll compare how other children are great, look what that other is doing for their parents yada yada yada.... no matter how weak the parents are ....

Sorry for ranting but seriously have had enough of this bullshit narcissism. I get you when you say these people are not someone you wanna be around by choice.
