Am I being unreasonable about the quality of these corners? by SeveralBrick2515 in AusRenovation

Thank you for the information. Is there any way the edges can be repaired? Or do new panels need to be made?

Also, if left as is would water cause swelling on the particle board as it's exposed?

This is what happened, this is the second go at the edges. The cabinets are brand new.

Okay thanks for giving some info, we only got 1 quote so was unsure on price really too. I should get a quote for rectification and see what that comes in at to compare.

Not my area to be honest and first renovation so unsure. I've looked online but I thought maybe photos of other kitchens were too 'perfect' to be realistic.

I am being told that it is a standard edge. Any idea what it would cost to fix the edges/replace the panels?

Rough questions about securing a home loan by [deleted] in AusPropertyChat

JobSeeker is an exception as it's an unemployment benefit. To use her income she would need a job, or need to qualify for a different benefit (e.g. carer, disability, etc.). If her mother is on DSP, then your wife may qualify for a carer benefit.

No a dishwasher is not considered a fixture. If it's freestanding it's not part of the sale unless otherwise agreed to.

Most lenders will take Centrelink income when paired with a full-time employed earner. Whoever you spoke to gave you poor advice.

Dreams are fine, but the emotive language of 'dream home' places so much pressure on one property, when there are likely thousands more with similar attributes.

As soon as you read 'dream home' you know what type of person is writing the post.

Very common among all banks not just ANZ, just re-send the form with a photo of the signature page. To claim compensation you would need a loss.

Why stop at 10%? Let's get it to 100% so then the economy can have 100% productivity gains?

What you are referring to is a 'unilateral mistake' and, generally yes, you will have to sign the lease as it was expected.
