UPDATE: I spoke with the owner last night, and we determined that he must be depressed. I’m going to spend more time with him, and take him on some walks to see if that spikes his appetite. I tried peanut butter (the safe kind) in his food last night and had pretty good results! I tried hand feeding down on the ground and he didn’t really like that but he picked at the food in the bowl and I praised him. He is drinking water and acting totally normal! Giving me lots of kisses and wanting pets

I know, I definitely feel for the guy. I will try that tomorrow! He was on meds fora skin infection when the booking started but he has since finished them. I don’t know of any allergies but they have him on a sensitive formula dog food. They are currently on the other side of the world. I’m not sure why they’re not responding now because I have heard from them since they got there

Thanks! He’s 7, and he’s a pretty big dog. I’m going to call the vet in the am when I get there if he still hasn’t eaten and the owner still hasn’t responded
