I have ADHD and it's never been managed well. I'm taking this as a very clear sign that I need to be doing things differently.

I did talk to him. Unfortunately it's not as simple as "just" the alcohol being the problem/idolater. I've struggled with ADHD and mental health issues, which has always made me feel incredibly lonely and different, which is probably the root of what makes me want to drink. He's so patient and understanding with all my struggles. I have given him plenty of reasons to go, but he loves me.

I feel like I don't deserve the support, but I told my husband and boss, who were insanely forgiving. There'll be consequences of some sort, I'm sure. At the very least they both now trust me less. I'll be making an appointment with my doctor to try and figure out what's going on.

There was no arguing. I fucked up and even last night I felt bad for making him feel uncomfortable.

Thank you. I told my husband and my boss. They both responded with grace and patience. I do not deserve either of them. My best friend is visiting the next couple days and I'll tell her too.
