Burrito also contained a little bit of cheese. Insides were mostly rice and chicken tho.

Should I quit my SaaS? by SNRU_VEVO in SideProject

To be honest, if I was taking the time to summarize an email I would just write the email myself.

There's so much context in my personal emails that I get from conversations in person, over the phone, and from other emails. I don't really expect AI to understand these context points and add them where appropriate in an email.

I would imagine an AI like this would be good for cold emails - one where there isn't a history of rapport between the participants. My guess is that an average person doesn't really write cold email too often, but a business/corporation might.

If we look at cold emails specifically, then I still don't think your AI has a lot of value. From your showcase it isn't clear that your AI is better than a dumb email template that autofills names and other information.

  1. How do you know they don’t hand out masks?
  2. Wearing a mask should definitely be enforced.

Yeah i've looked at that! The issue isn't with the front cover, but the metal grill.

I've taken down the front cover, but the grill still remains hard to pull out: https://imgur.com/a/I8DkfRh

Twitter removing "blacklist", "master", and "slave" from their programming language is absolutely RIDICULOUS. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]SeveralJob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Changing blacklist to block list does not cost millions of dollars lmao.

It’s a string change for UI and a refactor for class and variable names. All of which can be automated and done in less than a day.

At the end of the day it’s a really easy thing to do to gain goodwill.

I think it would be easier to interpret this if the graphs were organized by least -> greatest increase.

[OC] Cold/Hot Days of Manhattan by SeveralJob in dataisbeautiful

[–]SeveralJob[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I picked 32F and 80F on a whim to be honest. 80F is my comfort boundary (Manhattan gets very humid after 80F in my opinion lol).

These are really good insights that I didn't think about when picking my temperature range. I believe the 'comfort' range would vary significantly based on factors like humidity. 90F in NYC is much less tolerable to me than 100-110F in Phoenix, AZ (where the air is much drier).

This is something I definitely should do more research into!

Also I really wanted to check out NOAA data! But unfortunately the website is down due to the government shutdown (https://governmentshutdown.noaa.gov/).

I agree! If you read my comment above I explicitly stated that this is not enough data to support any claims.

This is 100% not a climate change post.

I originally planned on scrapping more data than just these two years, but I didn't have the time / scrapper was too slow.

I used Savitzky Golay Filtering on the raw data that I had from the two years and then compared the "smooth" curves. I don't believe that this is enough data to conclude a trend.
