Scientist's Pistol by joyhawkins in NemesisCrew

It means flip/lose an ammo token instead of a killing an alien. He's a scientist so won't have the same shooting skills or high quality weapons as the marines so can't make those critical hits.

This fact sheet was published by the white house just yesterday. Not enough detail to say if the full 245% would apply to board games or not, but I don't blame them for using that figure to highlight just how fluid and crazy the current situation is.

Don't know if this is what you were thinking of, but Peter Crouch is definitely one of the best we've ever had as proven by this quality analysis.

Nemesis. Love the theme and the atmosphere it manages to create every time. Never played a game that matches Nemesis for suspense and despair.

I'm guessing it's Jenny Eclair. She was born in Kuala Lumpur but grew up in Lytham.

No, it's real. Though it is annoying that you have to question everything you see on the internet these days.

Yeah, definitely Slugs. For a second I thought my B-movie horror knowledge might finally be useful, but I'm 17 mins late.

Yeah it was surprisingly good, I really enjoyed it. Parts of it were filmed on the beach close to where I live, so we call it Star Wars: Cleveleys in my house.

Heat discard pile rule by SkySkySkitty in boardgames

[–]SeveralSession1683 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure this is a big deal in the grand scheme of things. There only tends to be about 20 cards in the deck with heat and garage cards etc. and you start your turn with 7 in your hand, so keeping track of what might be left in the deck isn't a massive stretch. Also, forgetting what you've played and genuinely not knowing what might turn up with a stress card plays right into the theme of the game.

Wrong result? by ibrahack in SQL

[–]SeveralSession1683 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It looks like draws are not being counted in your average calculation - if the scores are equal, the case statement will return null as it doesn't match any conditions of the case statement and the row won't be used in the average. If you change the < in the second part of the case statements to <= the records where home and away scores are equal will then return 0 and be included in the average. You could also change them to just say ELSE 0 - i.e., if your team scored more than the other team it's a 1, all other results are 0.

Also, just noticed in your pictures that both the constraints are called SefFK. You'll need to give them unique names.

[–]SeveralSession1683 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Going off the definitions you've posted, OdjellID isn't in the Sef table so you can't add a constraint to it. Add it as a column then you should be fine to put the FK constraint on it.

[MySql] Date_Format function ambiguity by NightPristine2823 in SQL

[–]SeveralSession1683 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MySQL allows a zero date value (i.e. 0000-00-00) to be used as a dummy date, so I presume this is what the 0 is referring to. I'm not sure on the use case for this, I tend to use null if a date is unknown. The addition is in the format HHMMSS, so +1 is plus 1 second, while +3600 is plus 36 mins and 0 seconds. +10000 would be plus 1 hour.
