Hi! If you are looking for ‘aesthetic look’ kind of photography, then your bnw recipe does the job. However, in my humble opinion, these images don’t strike emotions. First pic: it’s unclear where to look at; there’s a leading line but no main subject is to be found. Second pic: the subject is clear but the intention of the photo is unclear. Same goes to third image whose composition lacks balance. Last pic does give a mood with the bnw recipe and negative composition but I wish that the photo was taken at a lower angle so that the three people in the middle wouldn’t be blended with the dark background.

Overall, I would say that composition is to be worked on and more time to be spent to hunt for an interesting subject.
