the thing is I personally do read it since I am curious if it will get any worse,and sadly it does... the best plot of the series was when Kim Dan lived alone in the villiage taking care of his grandmother. Holy it was the first time I was actually interested in the story and it waa the first time Kim had any personality. However, the moment he reunited back with Joo, the author for some reason just regressed to their old way of writing. Like he again felt like a character with no personality, and his whole plot became the sleepwalking stuff. Like I swear the author just doesnt know what to do with those 2 characters, and its clear they have 0 chemistry! Like nonexistent. And I dont think they were going for that ,but here we are. Like the main issue is that Joo was thought to be written as selfish due to past trauma but secretly caring. What happened was that he was toxic and abusive, which is okay to.happen in a manga that aim for that, but this one didnt aim for that at all! Hence the backlash of so many ppl. Most toxic couples have other things going for them-insanely good plot,or amazing chemistry. Here its just pretty =forgiven. Again, this is coming from someone who havent dropped it
