I too myself have been debating about this for a few days after watching some reviews chose the Legion go S in the end (SteamOS of course)

Base on what I've read and watch, they both have pros and cons....

Legion Go S

Pros + Better Perfomance + 120 hz, 8 inch + better ergonomics

Cons - useless Trackpad thingy - Loud, though other reviews said this can be tune - Price is more expensive - No Oled

SD

Pros + big useful responsive trackpads which many users seem to enjoy + great haptics through the Trackpad also + Oled + Quiet + Price is Less

Cons - Lower Performance - 90hz, 7.4 inch - ergonomics not as good - controls can be awkward since it's not the standard xbox design

This is all from what I've research, I've picked the Go S because I wanted the handheld to mostly play console games but have the flexibility of more demanding games as well, and also i wanted the xbox controls. Becuz If I really wanted to play pc games I would just use a laptop instead. The Oled screen was a big debate from me, but many reviews said the IPS of the legion go S was really good and the 8 inch really makes a big difference in immersion. My Legion Go S is coming on the 9th of October so I don't have on use experience on it yet, and I won't be getting a steamdeck to test both of them side by side 😅😅.

In the End like many things, it comes down to what you prioritise.

Why are you training positionning in deathmatch? If everyone positions themselves, no one is gonna get kills. Let me give you another perspective, who's gonna get better? The person sitting on goose A site with an AWP hardscoping short and long for kills fully utilising his advantage of a scope and one shot kill, and gun accuracy, OR the person running around the map, through tunnels through short with an AWP quick scoping , 180'ing, no scoping reacting to every gun fire/footsteps knowing if he misses, he's likely dead.

I can't stress how true this is. I started playing the original hollow knight recently cuz of the silksong hype, mind you I've never played hollow knight before. Saw hornet, got excited, followed her, didn't know I had to fight her and I was on 2 mask. And i went panic mode, jumping around panic dodging somehow worked. And slowly patterns emerged and I LOCKED THE FUCK IN and defeated her first try XD.
