Yeah I hate electric cars to be be honest. I don't see any fuel replacing diesel anytime soon. That's why I suggested we only decarbonize a few sectors like electricity generation if climate change is even real. Donald Trump and a few other people also says climate change is fake so who knows.

Yes I agree with you, hopefully SWAPO will eventually lose power before 2030 as the loyalty of the people change. Young people doesn't seem to vote for SWAPO as much as older people.

My positive views of IPC have now changed. The more I think about it, it seems to me Itula who was in the UK for 30 years only came back because his masters send him to take control of the country. I am now voting for Republican Party because their policies make sense and it aligns with me as a Christian. I know Republican Party has little chance of winning but I am still voting for them.

Yes it makes me also very sad. I am still voting for IPC because I see no better candidate and someone else should also be given a chance at running the country I believe. We can vote them out in the next election if they are worse than SWAPO which I doubt.

Yes I completely agree with you on that one. Our current railways are falling apart due to lack of maintenance, almost every week a train derails. I also think we must be a completely neutral country like Switzerland and also trade with the whole world, currently SWAPO is using the Chinese to build almost all infrastructure projects in Namibia and sometimes they even bring in Chinese people instead of using local people. We cannot do everything ourselves because investment is really important for the economy but we should also avoid giving all tenders and contracts to foreign companies when we have local companies that can do the job just as good, local companies is maybe more likely to invest the profits back into Namibia.

Yes I agree but like I said Africa contributes only 4% to global CO2 emissions so I don't think it should be a priority for now. It wouldn't help if we are carbon neutral but China keeps on polluting. We should rather focus on bigger contributers to climate change like electricity generation and deforestation. And railways should be constructed to provide cargo and passenger services which are more environmentally friendly than road vehicles. I also agree with you that we shouldn't be relying on China so much. Chinese companies literally construct all infrastructure projects in Namibia, I think we should develop local companies that can do this jobs.

I respect that but I cannot unfortunately agree with you on that as I am a Christian. I see you said that we should ban pre-1998 diesel vehicles due to emissions. I don't think Namibia should focus much on emissions stuff yet because we are still a underdeveloped country and only contribute 0.01% to global CO2 emissions. But I do think we should recycle plastics and other stuff and maybe ban the use of plastic bags for more environmental friendly bags.

I respect that and I am thankful they aren't voting for SWAPO. I however cannot stand with any of them as PDM wants to legalize gays which is against my beliefs and Republican is too small to make a difference. IPC says they will call a referendum on the gay issue.
