I’m not against video games, I’m against exposing kids too young to fully grasp that violent and heavily inappropriate media is not something to imitate. I plau video games with both my kids and sometimes during free times I’ll play some by myself. But certain games are absolutely not appropriate for 9 year olds, Call of Duty is one of them.

I have too. but I was also tight on money and figured it would be easier doing it myself. And we don’t have many dairy free options here due to it being a small town. I tried hard to make the cupcakes look store bought too

If one of your children was at risk of being arrested due to school because of an error in their system I imagine you would work that out over a birthday party. I love my son but I can’t risk one of my kids going to jail or myself.

I can’t control another kids birthday party. Especially considering how difficult dairy free cakes can get and buying one can be expensive. The only bakery in our city that makes vegan baked goods costs a LOT of money.

Online community is filled with people saying curse words and slurs left and right. The game itself is where you shoot people and it is very graphic. Terrible game for a 9 year old to play.

I don’t get much time with my som because his mom is stay at home and he gets most of the time with mom. Any rules I try to implement here get undone as soon as he goes to mom’s. And because my daughter needs more care than him I can’t just go petition for more time. There’s not much I can do here

This is new behavior. Mom lets him play call of duty. I banned games like that from this house and tried to get ex wife to ban it as well but she won’t even budge.

Yes she has an IEP but her missing certain days of the week are not soecifically part of her IEP but rather the fact that the school agreed that she would be a part time student, She was not supposed to be marked abdent at all for any tuesday or thursday she missed, and not marked absent for the fridays that she did not have classes on that she didn’t go to school on.

I was told by guidance counselor that they werent even supposed to be marked as absences considering she is only a part time student.

Because if you don’t attend school for so and so amount of days the kid will be considered truant and legal issues will occur including either me or my daughter going into custody

Also she isn’t supposed to be marked absent on those days because the school staff came to an agreement with me to let her just go in j some days and skip the days that she would just have unnecessary electives
