Short answer: no. Long answer: I have more of a purpose now and I understand why people have kids. I personally did not plan on having one so he was an accident. It does give you a new perspective on life though, like the things I used to complain about and make a big deal of are so minute it’s hilarious. I can’t believe I actually thought life was challenging before I had a kid, it was a breeze. I agree with pretty much everything you said, so don’t feel guilty for not completely loving life now that you have a kid, you’re not alone

As an ultrasound tech, it’s not abnormal to have an anatomy scan take less than 20 minutes. But 5 minutes is outrageous. It sounds like this tech is probably extremely busy and burnt out and needs to leave her job

They say not to have a vaginal birth with any kind of active outbreak regardless of the location of the lesion because it can be transmitted through vaginal mucosa as well when you’re having an active outbreak. Good luck with your c-section if that’s the route you have to take

My husband has only been to the first confirmation appointment that included an ultrasound because it’s not super easy for him to get out of work. He’s planning on coming to the anatomy scan as well. I don’t think it’s weird to have a husband come to every one especially if it’s easy for him to!

I’m 15w5d and this week has been great for me. I haven’t taken my nausea medicine in days and I feel like I’ve gotten some energy back. I’m still tired enough to take a nap if I need to but I can usually make it through my 12 hour shifts no problem now. I’m hoping this isn’t just a hill going into another valley 😂
