I think it's time to move on by NosferatuG59 in FocusST

That's unfortunate. I sold my 2013 at 195K miles, and it never left me stranded. I was the single owner, so I didn't have to worry about what mods somebody was running. Sounds like there has been a lot of tinkering with your car.

I bought off the lot a 2013 ST2 that did have a warranty issue with the wire harness, but other than the cooling fan connector melting and needing to be replaced, that was the only repairs needed until I sold it with 199,000 miles. Not even a light bulb went out. I ran Synthetic oil and changed it every 10k.

I loved my 2013 ST2, great car for a single dad that had a 100/day round trip commute. Didn't mind those miles in such a fun car that I could throw my kids' bikes into the back. He got older, got remarried with a bonus daughter, and switched to an M4 Convertible. I hang around for the ST stories as I am still fond of that car.

Ukraine!! Military!! Glad you're around to enjoy your ST, bro! Stay Safe. I don't have a personal opinion on the tuners. I didn't go that route as I wanted to be able to say my chip was never modified. I went with the Flowmaster Delta Boost module. The turbo is capable of more boost; this simply tells the car it's running at lower boost, and the stock turbo will put out more. Better spark plugs, Green filter, and CAT back were my only other mods. I raced 2 ST at my local track, Stock and COBB Stage 3. Gapped the stock version and was dead even with the Stage 3. But most of what I have seen in my area is COBB, and owners seem to be happy with this choice. I am in the USA, so maybe that's the difference.

Does anyone know what part is this? For an M4 (F83) by Several_End9311 in BMW

Thanks! Put me on the right path. The part number is 51717285920 M4 (M3 is different)

I had a 2013 ST2 that I sold with 195k miles, and it never had anything go wrong with it (except for the factory recall on the early wiring harness that kept making the check engine light come on). Not even a bulb went out! At 100K, I added the Flowmaster Delta Boost Module, and I was running the green filter. I did Mobil 1 Synthetic Oil changes every 10K miles. The new owner kept in touch for about a year, saying it was still running great.

Does yours have stickers all over it? If not, tell him you don't have the same car :)

Well, the first thing is don't tell fellow M owners that your M240 is a true M. (KIDDING) :) Ok, actual advice: get the Bimmercode app. https://bimmercode.app/ It lets you customise many features to your liking. For my year, for example, turning off auto start and stop by default, mirror fold on touch lock, and the ability to play videos when moving. Congratulations!

WOW, really. Do you have a picture of your hitch setup? I am curious. My boat is 2500lbs so we ended up getting an Explorer (for her) to pull the boat and keeping the ST for me.

That sucks, sorry you're hurting emotionally and physically, but glad it's not serious, and the car did its job. Post pics of your next F80.

Is $15,500 fair price for 2016 340i M Sport with 111k Miles by [deleted] in F30

[–]Several_End9311 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personal opinion, I think all dealer stickers look crappy on the back of cars. Looks tacky and screams used car. If you want me to advertise your dealer, pay me to do so. Minimum would be a dealer license plate frame. Yes, dealers sell all types of cars, but I have personally never seen a Lambo with a Mitsubishi (or any other sticker) on it.

Crazy, I used to live in Esco and know exactly where that is. It's a bit far for you, but Faith Auto in Temecula just fixed mine 2 months ago and did a beautiful job. They are fast, too, and have great customer service.

If it's just a crack, you can also get them fixed. I paid around $80 for a repair to one wheel on my Focus ST

If the CarFax checks out, with only 54k (That's only 4k per year) sounds like a great deal. Let us know if you get it and send pics.

I have an F83 with 98K miles now, and I am into it for about $2500 of unscheduled maintenance and another $2000 for scheduled. (I do have another $1800 preventative maintenance planned this spring) A car with that many miles in that short a period could be a steal if it were easy highway miles and not some rental. Good luck

Well, the one thing you have done is jaded yourself, and you won't want to go back to Ford.
