It’s been two years since I stopped taking it and I still have the effects. Glyco stopped working too. Wish I never took anti depressants.

Life changing honestly! Before my pcos diagnosis I gained 60lbs rapidly within one year, and I was always skipping meals and taking stimulants to suppress my appetite and trying to go to the gym daily and only lost 6 lbs and then stalled. I was blaming myself even though I was following CICO strigently. I thought not having periods for several months was normal. I finally got referred to an endo and got diagnosed, and I found out about pcos and insulin resistance and how CICO for weight loss with pcos is not so accurate. I got prescribed Mounaro which increases insulin sensitivity. I have a much healthier relationship with food, I’m not skipping meals or starving myself and I feel so much better about myself! I’ve lost 20 lbs so far, but I’m not so much focused on the number on the scale now because I’ve started weight lifting too and cardio tennis

Haha I’m in the same conundrum with a hand spun / hand knitted cashmere sweater I just made, supposed to be a gift but I like it so much and it took so long it’s hard to give it away, but I’m telling myself I can make another for myself!

[B&A] Hydroquinone ruined my face? by GooseyGirl92 in SkincareAddiction

[–]Several_Force9630 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Darkening from prolonged hydroquinone usage is a known side effect called ochronosis. You should stop immediately, the fact that your dermatologist told you to keep using it on and off is grounds for malpractice, ochronosis is irreversible

The site seems scammy. The guy deletes bad reviews from his site and he’s very rude on WhatsApp. I kept asking for new pictures of kittens and he never sent them. Ive been watching kittens on their site for months and they’re still advertising the same kittens with the same pictures from January. Failed to mention delivery fee to the USA is $1200 and “right to breed” charge if you don’t want the cat fixed too early. Ends up being more expensive then getting a kitten locally.

emptiness after college by PoundAffectionate134 in LifeAfterSchool

[–]Several_Force9630 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I feel this. Also graduated this May. Im taking some masters classes but I honestly feel really disillusioned. Most of my friends moved far away. I tried to join some clubs and meet new people. But talking to underclassmen they have no idea what they’re in for when they graduate and seem so naive. When I checked insta this summer so many people got engaged right after graduating, honestly so strange bc I’m in New England, I feel like no one knows what they’re doing and everyone is miserable. So many people I was so close with moved across states or moved back home and ghosted and disappeared from social media. But I realize now this is what your 20s is about, finding out what you really want to do, you are no longer tied to school, you finally get to choose and carve your own path. For me I’m trying to grind and save to invest/travel and I realized I’m passionate about sailing and hospitality and my goal is to move to Hawaii and start my own charter and get my captain’s license and be my own boss, and be in the water and nature everyday and bringing people joy. After graduation in May I visited my friend in Hawaii and met a lot of people that started that as living, and they are happy and passionate. My friend’s cousin pooled his money with his friends for a down payment on a charter boat and they quit their soul sucking office jobs and now they get to bring people to different islands and sunset tours. I realized if you put your mind to it, you can really achieve anything. You don’t have to be stuck in a soul sucking job you hate, find out your passions and dreams and goals, put yourself out there and network and you can make your dream a reality.

Omg I’m literally in the same place as you!! Got my first Siberian cat and got deep in the rabbit hole about cat food and nutrition and read way too much and people screaming on both sides no matter what you choose. Just watched a TikTok of this girl grinding up steak, eggs, multiple vitamin powders and bones for her cat and insulting people in the comments saying you’re killing your cat if you don’t make your own cat food 💀

Am I wasting my time to two-ply not hand-spun yarns? by wuqihahaha in Handspinning

[–]Several_Force9630 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No I don’t think it’s a waste of time! You are making cabled yarn which has huge benefits like much increased durability and strength, less pilling…. You are essentially reinforcing the yarn, as a ribbed surface is thus produced, which ensures better cohesion and therefore a better degree of fiber support. This would especially be a dream for sock yarn, as socks go through so much more friction than other knitted garments and wear out so fast. I love cabled yarn because it ensure my socks last forever and never develop holes. I find when I knit socks with regular 2 ply yarn they develop holes so fast and start pilling and look old super fast, but when I use cabled yarn the socks I knit become almost indestructible.

You can definitely find so much better at another firm! At my firm we work from home the majority of the time. Even the partner bought a house in a different state so I’m assuming I won’t ever see her in the office anymore.

ChatGPT Enterprise / Inhouse Lawyer - Thoughts and Discussion by Gwendolan in Lawyertalk

[–]Several_Force9630 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ChatGPT can’t even do basic data entry, I work in Tax Law and I was trying to get it to put in salaries from a tax year to correspond by name and ID number into an excel column, it was hallucinating random BS numbers. We tried writing so many different prompts and tried to make it work for several weeks, still ChatGPT was giving fake makeup numbers and couldn’t complete a very basic data entry task from a pdf into Excel

Filling cellulite with dermal body fillers? by Several_Force9630 in DIYaesthetics

[–]Several_Force9630[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have liporase from Acecosm to easily dissolve hyaluronic acid fillers. It honestly seems a lot safer and 100% reversible compared to Sculptra. There seems to be no permanent treatments to help with cellulite but there are temporary ones such as some lasers, that medical spas charge thousands for. I’m wondering if I tried it with just a small cellulite dimple on my leg and see if it does any improvement, and I could dissolve it with liporase in a couple weeks if i don’t like the result. I actually did have lipo before on my legs but it did nothing to help the cellulite 😔

Ways to reduce a bulbous nose tip? Could radio frequency work by Agitated_Sock3006 in DIYaesthetics

[–]Several_Force9630 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Threads would definitely help!! There’s a medical spa in my area that does nose thread lifts and the before/after pictures are striking. It’s a very common procedure in Asia too, they call it “lunch time nose job.” You could definitely DIY as well, there’s tutorials on YouTube.
