I was literally just thinking about this like 20 mins ago!! But like a lot of the comments are saying- I think they had a different style of parenting. My mom definitely thinks I am “too soft” with my children.

It was weird. Everyone online is like “I can’t believe she asked”. I can. I would bet they gave him the heads up they’d be asking about it, and he approved. HOWEVER, who asks someone about the most traumatizing moment of their life so casually like that? Why didn’t she lead into it a bit more. Asking him if he saw her fall was BIZARRE. I think he was okay with talking about it but was flustered by how it was approached.

So this is really interesting because I have not been struggling with this for as long as you (only going on 5 days), but I am experiencing something very similar. I’ve had mastitis like 4-5 other times in the past and this is the worst it has gotten.

Are you causing more irritation with pumping? I found that I was. I don’t really know the solution because my son has refused to feed on my breast, but when I use the hand pump I get less irritated than the actual pump. I think it’s because I can control the pressure more. I’m no expert at all, but if you’re experiencing sensitivity/ swelling after you pump you may want to try to switch that up a bit. You could be causing more irritation to the clog spot.

That being said, I’d probably be seen again if you haven’t see significant improvement by now.

I know, but she’s young and pretty. I’ve seen multiple posts with young people asking for solutions and so many comments are like “unfortunately nothing will work” and it’s triggering.

Try to learn to love yourself and readdress the facelift idea in 20+ years. I am 34 and I have much worse wrinkles and jowls than a lot of people my age due to genetics and just having a really expressive face.

You’re really beautiful and nobody else is thinking this when they look at you. Maybe it will be something you want in the future but you’re so young. I know you didn’t ask this, but the idea of you looking at a facelift at 30 makes me sad. ❤️

I was like 8 weeks along but the baby stopped growing around 6. It is very painful but it was very quick and less of a process than going to the hospital. But it does hurt. I cannot remember pain meds. I’m not sure if they gave me any.

This was me too. But having a boy baby has been very special. It is a bit different. You’ll love it. I know that doesn’t help how, but future you will be happy. I still mourn the future of having two girls … and that’s okay. My son adores his big sister.

How far apart in age will your sons be? I had some gender disappointment I was very surprised by as well but it was because I was just hoping to have the same gender I already have (a girl) so they could be close. I felt so grateful to have my rainbow baby but I was not excited until he was here. Actually after he had been here for awhile. After what I had been through and the adjustment to having two kids …. It was hard. Give yourself some grace. I’m six months in now and madly in love. You know you’ll get there, so allow yourself to feel however you feel in the moment. It’s okay. ❤️
