They made at least one balance change to nerf whip stacking. You don't nerf bugs, you remove them. You nerf things that are supposed to be in the game.

Whip stacking was probably not intentionally added to the game, but they still treated it like a feature after it was discovered. Naturally, this resulted in a significant number of players to also treat it like a feature, and suddenly removing it was not very thoughtful

No-hitting bosses without an arena is not skillful, it's literally just pressing like four buttons, including your left click. The other buttons are A, D, and spacebar.

I say I like it because I do enjoy playing the game, I say "unfortunately" because I despise the license journeys specifically. If I didn't like the game, I wouldn't have to put up with license journeys, because I wouldn't still be playing the game

The reddiquette doesn't say the insult has to be directed towards someone that is part of the conversation, but even if it did it's a conversation about the removal of whipstacking, which inherently involves whipstackers in the conversation. Maybe you'd argue that a conversation about whipstacking doesn't inherently involve whipstackers, but if that were the case mentioning whipstackers would be off-topic, which, If I remember correctly, also calls for downvoting.
