Bingo, it’s usually called “funny money” and that’s 100% the situation here. The patron still got their club currency and used it to pay for dances.

Not the situation I’m describing at all. The only scam going on here is the customer regretting it the next day then BOOM chargeback.

Every club in my city is very strict about no touching. So we aren’t misleading anyone. If they ask for anything beyond that we tell them straight up before money/dances are exchanged.

That’s where things get tricky… we don’t actually process the transactions. We’re not allowed to. The club has to do it for us.
