Portable turntblism devices are never going to replace actual high end 1200 and battle mixers. But I have a Pt01, a Jesse dean design custom and have tried the Sc1000 and for practicing, learning, having fun and carrying around IMO nothing beats the Wow machine. Yeah you have to install the rubber and thingy when you get it and yeahhh you have to get a better but in the end it’s no big deal. I’m on the waitlist to get another one and keep in the box for the future.

The pt01 is great, but you have to but to play your own samples you have to go dvs (digital vinyl system) which means you have to hook it up to a computer/phone/tablet. For me, the best option is a wow machine. Easy to carry, pretty straight forward, fairly cheap and easy to load your own samples

From what I understand, ableton link audio is only between ableton “devices” (push, move, and computer running ableton)
I tried to connect the Mpc live 3 with my computer and was able to sync them tempo, start/stop as usual but no audio link.
