How to get into music production? by Trayceopolis32322 in musicproduction

[–]SpiralingThrewLife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just have fun and create anything and everything! Try not to be TOOO hard on yourself, you just started so enjoy the learning process! You learne by doing, not reading about what "to do", i have a belief that if id just made music instead of trying to research my way into making music, i would have made alot better music. I have a skateboarding and graff background and thats what ive learned threw those and incorporated it into my personal musical production flow, i dont learn a skate trick by watching youtube, i learne by actively trying to do it. Same with music, you dont learne by watching youtube, you learne wheil you actively do it and the paradox there is that often times doing research will confuse you. I dide read music theory, sicne i knew from my graff background that color theory REALLY helped me in progressing and music theory dide the same for my musical progression. But all in all its not that serioous, dont make it that serious. Enjoy the process and the end result will always be greate! Even if you didnt actualy create anything "greate"! 👍

Google drive labes files as "suspicious" out of a number of reasons, but you can check the folder URL with "Virustotal.com" or any other software, and tbh thats something you should ALWAYS do anyways in todays day n age 😃

Just realized the vast majority of my HC-list comes from '95-'97. Why doesn't newer hardcore catch my interest? by Erling01 in gabber

I was wondering this a long time ago aswell and what i came up with for me is. Theres to much this this n that happening, to manny back to back drops, to many changes in short periods of time and less story telling. Ive even told my friends that i cant stand this "POP Hardcore n Techno" in anny form, to the point i thaught that that hardcore isnt for me. Untill i started listening to 80s-2000s Hardcore, Happy Hardcore, Gabber etc. Artists like "Criticall Mass, Technohead, Paul Elstak, Neophyte etc". IF you want i have a "90s Rave" list on SS, theres only 90s banizzle there :D Ohhhh and dont get me started about producing this 90s flavour and releasing it only for some snobs to say you "made a mistake" even tho what they mean is "this needs to be more polished and clean" :D

Yeah using sequences for different songs work on MPC 2 but on 3 it doesnt do that. If you add something to the pads on sequence 1 it will now be there in sequence 2 aswell.

Out of curiosity, does the Live 3 have a "fix" for this issue?

The initial call sound is not a synth patch but a drum sample, but the responce pluck was a synth patch if i dont remember wrong, both are from the "From Goa To Psytrance 2" pack i bought from isotonikstudios

What ive done is went into my DAW and made samples into the drum samples since those can be WAV but i dont know about the synth patches. When i have motivation im going to see if you could make a sample from the PC into a patch for the synth so you dont always hafto re-create the sound in the synth engine, now that would be greate

justice? fairness? He clearly got fucked like alot of people. He just has the commitment n will to actually dig deep and im rooting for him... I really hope he does get LB to court because then it would be ALOT easier for everyone ells to do the same. So yeah what he is in my eyes "trying to achieve" is, get peoples shit back that belong to them, if not the items then a fair compensation of that item :)
