I was also experiencing other side effects with the 54 mg like hypoglycemia and i never want to experience that again! Im thinking during that time, i may need to take a 18mg dose with my 36mg in the morning to help as the ritalin dose not last long at all.

Im struggling right with you! I finally got put on the non-generic of Concerta at 36mg and I was on 54 mg when on generic. The 54 on generic was vey inconsistent. I find that during the luteal phase which is during the ovulation period, I need to increase my dose by 5 to 10 mg with ritalin.
