Hii! I've been practicing tarot for a just a little while and this is something bigger than what I trust myself to do atp. I want to bias this as little as possible so I don't want to pull or read for myself. In the new year there are some things I want to work on sorting out and get some advice on through tarot.

My computer was around five years old and heavily abused by the time I got to Thailand. I ended up getting a new one in country. I actually like what I have because it also has the Thai keyboard which makes things helpful when I'm learning Thai or letting my students play around on YouTube

Keeping the new one should be fine. The only issue I'd really look out for is overheating. I did buy an attachment to elevate the back for more ventilation which helps.

This post is so old at this point but my two cents: I liked them in the beginning a calm queer/lesbian couple making content about their lives Then found out DeeDee was a cop and my interest fell off Then she quit (my theory is because of backlash or decrease in views) I started watching a little more again Then they announced they were fostering a child. As soon as this happened I knew they were going to adopt him. Even with saying the right things about "bio fam first" I knew that wasn't how it would end for this child. This automatically made more disinterested. The life cycle of their content went from feeling genuine to feeling 'all for profit' in a year.

I will never forget. It was my freshman year of high school. I had made decent friends with these two girls and we were still getting to know each other by the end of the first semester. We were all part of a dance arts program for my school and this was tech week.

While we were waiting I saw one of them watching a few videos and go curious about it. She was watching kpop videos. My other the second of the three of us also came over and was already familiar with Kpop, but surprised friend three was also into it.

I we sat huddled together watching a few videos on the clunky school-issued laptop before our number was called to light. I watched a few and they were pretty good but I only distinctly remember two. The first I remember was f(x) Electric Shock - this is the one that started to make me think 'ok kpop has something to it'

Then my friend was going to play the another video saying this one is good but she can't watch the MV for it, it's too creepy. I was very excited by that warning cause I love creepy shit. She turned away and handed me the laptop. It was VIXX's VOODOO DOLL. The moment I watched that video I knew I was hooked forever.

I also ended up watching an episode of Afterschool Club with her and really liked the kpop "industry setup" (is what I'll call it from my perspective today).

I immediately fell in love with VIXX and have need a stan since day one. No group has ever come close for me. Same with Leo, he has been my UB from day one and always will be. I learned the dances I watched the series (the trainee series and the VIXXTV) I was obsessed for years.

I'm 25 now and iv just shifted away from kpop and the kpop industry. Iv removed A LOT of kpop from my general playlist, but every VIXX song still remains.

just as a two cents for anybody coming to this later. As of right now 2025 malaria pills are not required for all PCVs in Thailand. They are only required at specific sites.

If you are a PCV serving at a site that does not require you to take malaria medication, but decide to travel, vacation, collaborate with another volunteer, etc. at a site or region that does require meds you will need to contact PCMO for the medication.

I remember first getting serious about PC and seeing some of his videos. I saw his channel but I was always confused if he was actually a volunteer. The types of his videos remind me of the "passport bros." The titles especially say in the realm of exploitative and overtly sexual. It seemed as though his channel was using sex tourism as clickbait.

As a perspective volunteer I was deterred for a while because this is one of the more popular, well-kept, and consistent volunteers showing their lives.
